Play change my rating depending on the reception and the doctor how I'm treated. My insurance said this place was covered on my policy and it doesn't matter to me if they're in the mall or not that's not an issue I just want a correct prescription made for me because I've been disappointed by America's Best contacts and lenses and Stanton. Stanton was horrible!!! They don't even have real optometrist in the office, they are all trainees. But I will come back to my review and when I pick out some frames I'll take a picture. Unless I get contacts
Dr. Adcox is awesome. Some of his staff is great as well. The staff answering the phones , not so much! They seem to need training or at least, they need to understand that customers have options and despite having a great Doctor, some would go elsewhere based on their neutral at best phone etiquette.
Great office. I have always been pleased with the service. Dr Adcox is such a great Optometrist. His staff is so patient. My little one literally tried on like 15 pairs of glasses and the young lady patiently waited on my son. She wanted to make sure that my son was happy with the pair of glasses that he picked. She made sure they fit him well and that they would not fall off his little face.
Second time there. Returned because I loved Dr Addcox. He retired, won't return again. The staff is rude ,not friendly at all. I got there on time to my appt and I said good morning to the receptionist Angela and she did not respond. SHE HAD THE FACE OF I HATE MY JOB. It wasn't until I reciprocated the treatment that she changed her tune. When I call they answer with no friendliness no desire to be helpful or give good service. Very dry and monotone. This place needs an entire change of staff!
I went through the process of creating a profile with them, sharing insurance info, and booking an appointment.
One business day prior, I missed a call from them. I assumed it was to confirm my appointment, so I returned it the next business day - hoping I'm not too late to confirm.
The joke is on me. They didn't bother to let me know but decided to close on the day of the appointment, so here I am driving into the city and learning they "have no appointment on record for me today or any other day in my chart" from an answering service.
Extremely unprofessional approach to patients to schedule them, cancel them without notice, and then pretend on the phone it never happened. I would've been a new patient, which is why I went to all that trouble via phone to set up a profile.
Now, I will have to find an eye doctor over again and miss work to be seen when I could've rescheduled with someone else if even an ounce of professionalism had been employed.
The doctor was very friendly and professional, and the time spent on the office wasn't unusual, though i spent more time sitting and waiting than being examined. Office staff could use a bit more training and counseling on customer service. They seem to be complacent and settled on their routine and don't care to extend themselves personally.
Overall good care, just not overly impressive. Likely that i will not return at this point, and will continue to find a regular eye care specialist.
Doctor was good. The staff is another thing. The girl in the front was very rude. I waited two weeks for my glasses and nothing. Finally got them and still got the wrong prescription on them. And then she tell me that it's our fault. And we have to deal with it. I will never go back and don't recommend any body going there.
We recently visited here for my sons annual eye exam and Dr. Feeser, was amazing. He was very friendly and professional. He took the time to explain everything to me and tried to make my son feel at ease with his visit. However, the front desk staff and the lady named Angela were not so great. While waiting for our glasses to be ordered Angela was very rude and unprofessional with a lady and her children. First, glasses are expensive and we as parents do our best to pay for all the expenses. The mom in front of me needed an extra two days to pay for her glasses and Angela said, " Until Friday"! and you could tell she was agitated by this information and as a mom and human being I felt that Angela the person who helps with glasses was very rude and should have been more understanding and not so judgmental. Eventually, she agreed to hold the young girls glasses until the mother could pay for them, but it was very uncomfortable to watch how Angela treated the mother.
When it was my turn to be assisted she seemed fine until I started asking questions about our bill and what insurance would cover. As a customer and mother of a patient I would hope that we can receive good care and good customer service from Dr. Resser's staff. Unfortunately, there seems to be a persistent issue with customer service and the staff there with customers. Which is very unfortunate, because it's hard to find good care in the Permian Basin.
I plan on making a formal complaint on Angela and asks that Dr. Resser speak with his staff on how important it is to be patient and understanding when it comes to families needs and situations.
