Dr. Faust is super knowledgeable, attentive, and kind. Helps you understand what's going to work best based on your lifestyle and goals. Carries a great selection of frames including high-end brands that are very hard to find like Reykjavik Eyes. Works with your insurance and makes things as affordable as possible. Excellent experience and knowledge of progressives incl Zeiss and Shamir. Takes the time to review your exam findings in detail with you - great communicator. Well worth the trip from Houston!

One of my best medical experiences from Dr. Faust, and they were nothing urgent, just check-ups for contacts and glasses. But I have seen many doctors for my other health conditions and Dr. Faust is one of the most professional, informative, and practical doctors I have met. He's helped me save costs on certain things with my contacts, but he also showed me the photos of my eyes and described how they look, what risks I have, and how to mitigate those risks. The front desk assistants are also friendly and professional. Never pushy, this local clinic is a gem in San Antonio for very patient-focused care.

They truly care about the patient not just the money
From the greeting to receiving the glasses, everything was excellent. They explained every step of the vision test. Not only were they patient enough to kindly answer my million questions but the final product itself was worth it. My eyesight is bad enough to wear my glasses lenses are always sticking out of the frame, not only did I get a thinner frame but the lens itself was half the size of my old ones. (Brought my own frame) Will tell everyone I can about this place, planning to travel from out of town to come back to this place from now on.

I absolutely adore Dr.Faust and his staff. Everyone here is personable and you will get a doctor who cares enough to see how he can save you money. Normally I never buy my frames from the optometrist, but I was a fan of the selection and the fact that not every frame is something you can get off of Luxottica. I would also like to point out that in the past, I have had optometrists who will give me a sample for contacts that are not my prescription. Dr.Faust went out of his way to get me a sample that actually fit my prescription AND he fixed my old glasses. So long as I am in San Antonio, Texas I will continue having my yearly examinations done here.

Dr Zack Faust saved me from going BLIND!!! I had gone to a low cost dr I had been going to for years. I reported a "dark curtain to my regular optometrist and he didn't see my retina was torn and detached. 2 week later and 100+ beach volleyball games later... Dr Zack Faust listened and found the issue in minutes and then through has network of eye professionals was able to get be schedule same day for emergency surgery. One day more would have meant the damage to my eye sight would been irreversible. He is kind, effective, and en fully engaged with his patients. Thank you Dr Zack Faust for saving my eye sight

Everyone was so personable and welcoming during my first experience at this establishment. I was greeted by April who was so friendly as she got my paperwork together, initiating a light, fun conversation. She definitely made me feel more relaxed and comfortable. Dr. Faust was very warm and welcoming as well. The service and care he provided was top notch. I went in very nervous and immediately felt at ease from beginning to end. I highly recommend going here for all your eye care needs! They definitely have a loyal customer out of me after today.
