Costco Optical Department

I had a really disappointing experience at this Costco. A year ago, I got a pair of eyeglasses from this optical department, but the lenses were not accurate. I specifically asked for high-index lenses because my prescription requires thin lenses, but the ones I received were thick. When I pointed this out, the older employee whom I spoke was extremely rude. He told me that if I returned the lenses, I would be banned from buying glasses at any Costco in the future. I was stunned who talks to a customer like that? He acted as if he owned the place. His attitude was completely unprofessional. On top of that, I've noticed that many other employees at this Costco are also rude, which makes me think the manager either doesn't train the staff properly or simply doesn't care about customer service, only about making money. After this incident, I stopped shopping at this location, even though it's the closest one to my house. I now prefer to drive farther and spend my money at a different Costco where I'm treated with basic respect.

I had a bad experience in this location when I picked up my eyeglasses, it's only 2 staffs working and I had to wait for a long time,people waited for hours very poor customer service.

Yikes, the amount of negative reviews show a lack of reading comprehension that's a little worrying. This business is an opticians office/exam room only and they have nothing to do with filling eyewear prescriptions, so any reviews dealing with a fill are useless to me, at least. I've had overall good experiences getting my exams done here every few years, dr is quirky and friendly but obviously there's low tolerance for that based on these ridiculous reviews...

Dr. May was very helpful and patient with me. She made sure she had answered all of my questions and provided all the help I needed before going to the next patient. The front desk lady (sadly I didn't catch her name) was also the most professional and friendly I've encountered in any clinical setting.

Great product value but the staff is difficult and surely. Understaffed and working in cramped quarters could be parts of the problem. Either way, one of the worst groups of service representatives I have ever experienced. Truly, a cast of miscreants.

Please take the negative reviews seriously. I had a 10 o'clock appointment, got there ahead of time, and waited in what I thought was a line. My presence was never acknowledged and every other customer looked confused as well. Very disorganized and certainly a lack of customer service. I left. I'll find another eye doctor with better business practices. The convenience of it isn't worth it.

Very very poor service. Employees have little concern for customer satisfaction. Waited a long time for a pick up order and when politely asked how long it would be, treated me with distain. Have had this experience twice at this location. Will be looking elsewhere for optical needs..

I have been using Costco optical both in New York and Texas for well over 15 years and I have never been disappointed in the quality of work or the optical personnel. Their selection of frames is usually extensive and is at reasonable prices. I will continue to use Cosco optical In the future.
