Dr. Hyun Joo Chung, OD & Associates

Horrible customer service. I scheduled an appointment for my husband and Dr.Chungs office wanted to collect co-pay before my husband even showed up for his appointment. As I explained to the receptionist we do not feel comfortable giving our credit card information over the phone. Her response with attitude was that "This information was already explained to your husband." I asked if that could be paid at the time of service because I understand co-pays need to be collected before you see a provider. Which we have no problem doing in the office. She then proceeds to tell me we can go in the office before 5 on Friday. His appointment was scheduled for Saturday. I have never heard of such policies and if this is their policy it needs to be reiterated on the website and via text. What if my husband has an emergency and can not make it to the appointment what happens to that money? As for the receptionist I spoke to she was very rude possibly needs to be trained on customer service. Now I'm seeing the 1 star reviews. Wish we saw these before even wasting our time!

I've been seeing Dr. Chung since I was a kid and have followed her from several different clinics. She's very nice, makes it easy to understand my charts and images, and doesn't unnecessarily dilate my eyes. She even asks about my family at every visit. She's a wonderful doctor and I'll stick with her until she retires.

Two days ago, I met Dr. Wiggins who did a very thorough exam on my eyes, and his friendly staff instantly handed me the prescription I needed to get new glasses from Eyemart Express, right next door. Dr. Wiggins' office required no appointment and even the paperwork was very quick to finish. The eye exams were easy to do too. The facility was clean with very nice, modern equipment and Dr. Wiggins was so nice. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Dr. Wiggins is now my new, permanent optometrist. 100% great experience. Thanks, y'all!

Dr. Chung was super nice and professional, her technician was also very nice and professional for my pre-check up. They made my exam go by smoothly and Dr. Chung made sure I understood everything that was being explained to me. The eye mart next door was also very professional, got my two glasses for $38.00 and was able to pick them up after my full exam with the doctor was complete . .

Dr. Wiggins is one of the best optometrist I've ever seen. He is thorough and genuinely cares. Takes his time and doesn't rush. I regret not going last year. I just made another appointment. I will continue to come back. He is worth driving across town.

I saw her one time when I took my prescription and low and behold they could not read it. Had to drive back and the receptionist with an unforgettable attitude persistent that it wasn't their fault. I waited 15mins so they could rerite the orders . Receptionist was extremely rude!

Dr. Chung came in clutch! She went above and beyond!!! She did what no other eye doctor has done. I always wanted contacts and all other eye doctors said i couldn't. Dr. Chung ordered special sized ones for me and we got them fitted and they are amazing! Thank you Dr. Chung i for sure will come back every year!

DR. WIGGINS is awesome. He's very attentive and pleasant, he always informs you at your visits about your conditions and does the best to point you in the right direction when it comes to contacts and glasses. He's great at what he does, couldn't ask for a better eye DR.
