Dr. Susan Berry

The main reception area staff must not be properly trained in customer service nor care to keep their tenured customers coming back. They seem to be unhappy checking in and out their patients. They keep people on hold when on the phone for long periods of time. They expect you to give them 100% even when you're going through tough times but they themselves can't keep a smile on their faces. For these reasons I pulled myself, both children, and both grandparents out of this practice. They lost 5 patients. Dr. Susan Berry is great with children and good at what she does if you can endure the wait times and lack of scheduling flexibility and wait two to 6 months to have your child seen by her. The staff who helps with the prescription and have glasses fitted are friendly and professional. They are expensive but you get what you pay for. They have been there for several years.

We took our son in for his first eye exam and had a horrible experience. She did some extra exam (supposedly) that cost is $75 out of pocket in addition to his copay and refraction fee, costing us a total of $200. She didn't ask or inform us of this until we went to pay. When I asked to speak with her to discuss the purpose of the exam or what it entailed (since I was with him the whole time and observed nothing extra outside of a typical exam) I was told no. Front desk staff was rude despite me being as polite and patient as possible. We also left without a diagnosis and were told to come back in three months. Not to mention the visit took us literal hours. Would not recommend. She was also very impatient with my kid, which is not ok if you are a pediatric provider.

Wait time was terrible. I had appointments for both of my children and we did not get seen by the doctor until 1hr and 45min after our appointment time. When the Doctor came in and was rude to my children because they where having a small snack. The Assistant tech "sandy" was very rude and would not answer any questions regarding procedures and treated me like I was crazy. My children and I have never been treated so poorly by a doctor and staff..... my Children have seen an eye doctor for 6 years and have always enjoyed their visits and never cry. They both screamed during their dilatation as they make the children scared instead of trying to keep them calm and just putting the drops in. This was our first visit and will also be our last visit would recommend looking elsewhere.

Technically proficient. Gave a exam for our infant daughter and determined she had no problem with crossed eyes. It was an illusion created by a wider nose bridge. We were very happy to get the results of this exam. We had to work diligently with the staff because of communications problems. My family speaks Chinese and we need the staff to speak very slowly and clearly so everyone can understand.

Agree terrible wait time. Waited 1 hour and 20 minutes before being seen.
