Eye and Vision Care Clinic

I Called today to inquire. I've never been to this place. My phone calls were answered promptly after going through the automated push button system. I had a lovely female answer the phone who answered all of my question, with full detailed answers. I needed to call back and again my phone call was answered immediately by the very same nice helpful, courteous, voice awesome person as a front line customer service type of representative for the office. Reading the reviews below I would think most people have never had the deal with military or social health care. You are given a time You need to be on time and yes if you're not you will either be told to leave and reschedule or you will sit in the waiting room for 2,3,4 hours waiting for a doctor to have time to see you. The fact that this is a school and we want there to be good schools, and we want really good doctors, schools need people to be patients and therefore you need to have patience for them.

I was 5 minutes late because I was not aware that I had to go upstairs for my scheduled eye exam. The person who checks you in for appointments was rude and very inconsiderate along with his counterpart ie mumbling about how I was another one. What does that mean? It was like they took joy in my frustration. The supervisor was nonchalant about it also. I was told that I would need to reschedule because the doctor was unable to see me. For being 5 min late? Horrible experience, horrible treatment and horrible management!

Customer service is horrible. I call couples of time to make a appointment and the lady who answers the phone was rude.

Kind and professional environment. The student who took care of me was not only top notch but also very considerate. The eye exam was comprehensive, and the results exceeded my expectations. Thank you.

This place does things it seems just to make more money. I took my daughter who used to wear glasses here and they took forever! We were here almost 2 hours going thru all the tests and the guy had to keep leaving to ask the doctor questions. After all that, they said my daughter didn't need glasses but Visual Therapy that costs $150 that Medicaid does NOT COVER. On top of that, they couldn't even give me a copy of anything they mentioned or did. Worst place to come, a rip off and a waste of time!

The first time I used this eye clinic was over 5 years ago. They were slow in their testing but the supervision was very good and I recieved the contacts I wanted (over 50 years as a contact lens wearer). Over 2 months ago I got another appointment to obtain new contacts. Two months later I am still waiting. The first student was not listening during my first visit and ordered the wrong contacts. It took over a month waiting for them to get the contacts it stock. When I went to my appointment discovered they were wrong. They gave me another eye exam (2 hours) and reordered. I have waited another month. NO CONTACTS. I will never use them again and could not recommend to anyone. You would be much better off using any Optometry Office!!

I keep trying to call and order contacts. NO ONE answers the phone. I left about 2 or 3 voicemail and still no one gets back to me. When someone does answer they advise me that they will be transfering me to a different department. When I spoke to a PERSON i told her what has been happening and she said okay let me tell them that you will be coming on the line. Then instead of a person I am connected to a voicemail... AGAIN... WORST PLACE EVER. I should have NEVER gone there. I guess I will have to find another place to order from and go to get my eyes checked.

Got there at 4:45 Mon after going to a couple of Dr appts & the pharmacy at the VA hospital. Told the lady I generally have problems finding frames large enough for my big head. She immediately pulled out several frames, all that would work, & told me what colors each 1 was available in. Then she helped me pick out the best looking frame. We sat down, wnt through the final measurements, & she talked me through what options I had as far as lenses, antiglare, transitions, etc. I told her what I wanted, asked about how long it normally takes for them to come in (was told 2-4 weeks), paid, thanked her, & left less than 20min after I got there. My glasses arived by Fri!! Put them on & they look great as well as work well. Will need very minor adjustments & luckily my local optometrist's office will happily do it for me. VA optometry clinic (at least ordering new glasses) is nowhere near the nightmare it used to be. Highly recommend it to other vets.
