Very overbooked scheduling. I had an appointment at 2:05 and the doctor did not see me until after 3. Doctor was knowledgeable of my issue and listened and addressed questions well.

Dr. D'Amore and Dr. Antunez are great. The office is not. I waited over 30 minutes while I watched 2 people be called within 5 to 10 minutes of getting there. I got a tech that was new and not being coached at the time. He couldn't get 1 machine to work. He couldn't get the eye pressure, and he touched the tip of the eye dilation drops to my eye. I told Dr. D'Amore and the receptionist who checked me out. They didn't respond with an apology to what I had experienced. The majority of the time I was waiting the manager was chit chatting with the front receptionist about personal issues. I didn't see that I was going to get any real response there thus this review. I believe that my insurance only works with this company though I know they have different offices.

We scheduled my husband's appointment with Dr Burns WEEKS ago, at the Claussen Rd clinic, since he would not be at the clinic near our home until December. We received texts to confirm the appointment two days before the date. We arrived this morning and the receptionist handed my husband several pages of paperwork to complete. She did not ask him his name or which doctor he was seeing. 20 minutes later another patient enters, and she asked HIM which doctor he was to see. He said Dr Burns. The receptionist told him Dr Burns wouldn't be coming to that clinic any more. I said WHAT?! She claimed the office had called my husband but there were no such calls on his phone. To make matters worse, she said there was no ophthalmologist in the clinic that he could see instead. I then asked about getting an appointment near our home and was told December 31st was available. I told her to forget it, and we left. We will NOT be using this company again.

Dr. Kavanagh and his staff were so polite and friendly! I visited his office for the first time this morning. This location is a hidden gem, not far from the HEB on Bulverde Rd. I stopped by to pick up a few groceries, my prescription was ready before I left the store. Thank you to the staff at Eye Associates of South Texas North Central for sending my prescription in before I left your parking lot.

The staff and doctor was great. All were very professional polite and explained procedures to be done. The surgical scheduling person was extremely helpful and understanding. I left there feeling safe and not stressed over my upcoming cataract surgery. Will gladly recommend them to others.

As a patient, many eye test were made to complete Dr Kavanaugh's exam for cataract surgery. My encounter with him took 5 minutes as he reviewed my test. A very busy office, indeed. Although, his surgery coordinator, was quick to go over cost...I would have liked to have been told the total cost for both eyes , which was my need. My cost, for both eyes , covered Dr. Kavanaugh's fee, which had to be paid at the time of visit. I have never had to pay so much money prior to the surgery! Then there is additional cost for the surgery center and Optometrist after surgery on one eye..double the cost for a second eye.

Dr. Burns explained exactly what I needed. He said I did not need surgery at this time. He reschedule my next visit in two months, to due further testing. I was very satisfied with this visit and look forward to seeing him again.
