Avoid Eye Associates Alamo Ranch at all costs.
I had an appointment scheduled for Friday, April 15th, at 3PM and showed up only to find no one in the office--completely closed. No call, no email, no notice that my appointment had been canceled. Just a total waste of my time.
When I called to reschedule, I was told the earliest available appointment was June 8th, 2025--almost two months later. Unbelievable.
I'm sure they'd happily charge a cancellation fee if I had missed the appointment, but when they mess up on their end, it doesn't seem to make a difference.
Terrible customer service and a lack of accountability. I will not be returning and strongly recommend others look elsewhere.

Dr.Caldwell is great , but prepare to waste all of your time waiting in their multiple lobby system.
They take 30-1hr minutes just to call you after you first check in for your apt. Then the assistant talks to you and updates your information in their system and then puts you in a different waiting area just to have you wait another hour. I was here for just a follow up, now I'm here wasting 2 hours before I even get to talk to the Dr.
They always seem to be over booked and under staffed. IMO
I'd recommend you go check out someone else with a more organized clinic.

My appointment was today at the Alamo Ranch office. Right on schedule, just sat down and they called my name! Quick and efficient with all the tests. Staff is welcoming and polite. This facility is conveniently located and easily accessible on the far northwest side (Alamo Ranch area). It is easy to make an appointment and wait times are short, if waiting is needed at all. Dr. Gonzalez-Oliva is very knowledgeable, professional, and personable. In this annual checkup, she provided additional helpful information on selecting a ophthalmologist. Marcos handled in-processing extremely well. He was efficient and thorough throughout the process. He asked questions and sought clarifications to my answers, when needed. He was both professional and personable in our discussion. I highly recommend this practice!
