Family Eye Care

I've been trusting Dr. Nydia with my eyes for almost 15 years. The level of care and time she's spends with me each appointment has never wavered. Everyone on staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. It's always easy to find appointments that work for my busy schedule. The selection of glasses is excellent and they have a wide range of price ranges. I appreciate that everyone takes the time to educate me on my care but also my health insurance benefits so I know exactly my out of pocket cost. Highly recommend!

We have always loved Dr. Rosillo, but we went today and it's a whole new staff and doctor. It was the worst visit, first they said they couldn't verify my insurance, then they needed my full social, when I declined they said I could pay cash and get reimbursed from my insurance. It all felt really wrong, once they managed to verify my insurance, the copays were wrong. When I questioned them, it got corrected. The few mins we spent with the tech were useless and he was acting like the doctor. When I asked why the tech was trying to perform the exam, the doctor came from another room to start the visit. I told him, we were leaving. No one there knows what they're doing or how to run a business! Do not go!

I've been seeing Dr. Rosillo for several years now and I've been so happy with her! She's a smart, wonderful and caring Doctor. My eyes are healthy because of her! I appreciate that she treats me like family when I visit. Her office staff are always pleasant, too!

Do not go to this doctor they are scam artist. They obtained my information without my consent and when my son broke his glasses they would not honor what the previous owner gave us for a warranty you would think they would want to keep the existing patients but no they don't. So angry dr nydia did not notify her patients she was leaving

I have been going to Family Eye Care for many years. Everyone there is wonderful. I love the doctor and wouldn't trust my eyes to anyone else. She is so knowledgeable and such a wonderful kind person. I feel like I'm visiting a friend every time I go. I recommend Family Eye Care to everyone.

I went to Family Eye Care today to discuss a minor issue I was having with a pair of eyeglasses I bought last year. I was shocked and surprised to find out that Dr. Nydia Rosillo has retired. I have been going to this business for the last twelve years. I am very upset that we were not given any notice by phone or email about this change. The website still has her info and does not mention anything about her retiring. I'm very disappointed about having to find a new eye doctor.

NO RETURNS OR EXCHANGES!! DO NOT RECOMMEND. I recently got my prescription glasses from here to use in operating rooms but the frame was heavier and didn't quite fit my nose bridge when I got my glasses back. When I asked for a refund (since I didn't like other frames at the shop), Dr. Nydia instantly changed her facial expression and had me talk to the receptionist instead. Ever since then all the employees treated me rudely and told me Dr. Nydia is doing me a "FAVOR" by allowing me to exchange the glasses. I was FORCED to purchase another frame even though I didn't like any of them at the shop. No one had explained the refund or exchange policy prior to the purchase. When I asked where the policy is stated, the receptionist took long time to find it on website. Policy was not stated anywhere in the shop nor paper copy was given. ADDITIONALLY, all the frames at the shop were more expensive than the retail price. I personally compared the price from brands such as Ray-Ban, Fossils, Tommy Hilfinger, Nautica etc. so it is confirmed (attached in photos). (lens were way more expensive too) When I asked the reason why the prices are significantly higher, they told it's because all the frames are from Luxottica and they need to profit by raising the price. Next time I need glasses, I would just purchase through online which provides cheaper options with full refund.

Dr Rosillo is the best. She is always very thorough, explains what is going on, and gives the best advise regarding options. I don't live near her practice anymore, but gladly drive to see her for my annual check-ups.
