I went Focal Point Vision to see Dr James Lehmann by regular eye doctor Dereck Mead. From the minute I stepped into office the staff was very friendly and very helpful. The nurse that gave the eye was very friendly and good about the steps of examination.
After did her part of exam and put drops in my eyes, with in just a few minutes Dr Lehmann greet me did his exam and discussed my different option.
On the day of my surgery it was one the smooths process I have ever experienced. The entire nursing staff made feel relaxed and at ease. Dr Lehmann stop by to let me know he was ready and he would see in couple minutes. I was there less than 2 hours.
The next day for follow up appointment was great , the entire staff was fantastic.
I had no pain from the surgery and the day after I could see clear than I could with glasses on.
In my opinion Dr Lehmann is the best eye surgeon in the city if not the state.
I highly recommend Foal Point Vision and most of Dr James Lehmann. If you cadirak surgery ask your doctor for recommendations for Dr Lehmann.

This office charged me$75 just to print my prescription even though, by law, it should have been provided to me when I had my eye exam several months ago. They haven't responded to any messages about this thru their patient portal. As a physician myself, I refill prescriptions and fill out forms as a courtesy to patients at no charge so I characterize this behavior as greedy and unprofessional.

Ashleigh. our study tech, should have been a dam doctor herself. Too many doctors did not attend "bedside manner" in Med School. Not her> She made a very difficult process far more understandable and acceptable. A perfect asset to this mega business of eye fix.

I recently had surgery for my cataracts and glaucoma problem.
Dr. Lehmann did a wonderful job, the surgery went well. The staff at the office and surgery center were very professional and made me feel comfortable. My follow up with Dr.Jason Daughtry was great as well, he answered my questions and checked my progress after surgery. I would highly recommend Vocal Point Vision .

Editing to five stars. The practice manager called me shortly after I posted this review. She looked into what happened and then found a spot to squeeze me into the schedule so I could get the help I needed. She also followed up after to make sure I was taken care of.
I like the staff, but their phone and scheduling system is now terrible. You can't call and talk to someone. I left a voicemail a week ago asking for an appointment for an eye issue, and no one called me back. I received a text saying they received my message and would contact me soon. It's been a week and still no one has contacted me. I called again this morning and left a voicemail and received the same auto text. I also sent messages through their text platform. Very frustrating. I would give a much higher rating if it wasn't for this.

I'm very pleased with my surgical experience at Eye 35 surgical center and with Focal Point Vision. They were professional in every way and spent ample time explaining everything and answering all my questions. Their pre and postoperative instructions were clear and concise. Dr. Iltis called to check on me the afternoon of the surgery and the surgical staff called the following day. Dr. Daughtry did a thorough postop visit the day after surgery. I would highly recommend their expertise and care. I'm very satisfied with my care.
