I attended my appointment last Nov. 7 on the new location at: 1779 NE Loop 410.
I need to mention this, and recognize these great and valuable women, Sonia Olvera and her entire team (Sylvia L. Ruiz, Elizabeth, Debbie, Ivanah,Terry, Melody, etc, all of them) who do an excellent job at each appointment, and of course all the MD staff, Dr Robert Rice, Dr. Hagar, Dr Nguin, etc. that spend their time in our vision health.
Thank you for your time and dedication to us, your patients, but especially a huge THANKS ! from me and my sister.
We were diagnosed with Glaucoma and since 6 years they have been providing us the eye exams every 6 months, the eye drops, the prescription
glasses and everything related to the health of our eyes.
And that's why I am giving you these well deserved golden stars

This place said they could help me with free glasses I did the whole process. They told me 8 weeks it's been 3 months no glasses. Also trying to get in contact with this company is TERRIBLE.
Edit: a supervisor finally contacted me after posting this review. 2 days ago. Told me my glasses would be in today or Thursday she called on a Tuesday. Called Today (Thursday.) still no glasses. Everytime I call they just string me along saying call next week. No one bothered to call me and explain my situation. The only reason why I'm calling is because they said it'll take 8 weeks and it's going into the 4th month soon. I will continue these updates.
UPDATE: aftwr 3 and a half months I got my glasses. But I got them broken

This place has the most friendly and helpful staff as well as the eye doctor and doctor's there. The eye doctor that saw my daughter took the time in answering all the questions I had during and after our exam also they were very helpful in explaining any thing that I didn't understand regarding my daughters eye care. The staff at I Care San Antonio is excellent. Mari (sp?) and others at the front desk, and the technicians, have been helpful and kind to us while my brother was seeing Dr. Miramontes. We rarely had a long wait. They were always patient with my many questions, and quick to help find answers.
We would still be going to I Care, but are now able to see an ophthalmologist much closer to our home. (I Care is approximately a two hour drive for us)

Wow, Dr. Burkhart and his staff are super polite, helpful, and thorough of your eye care needs. I was told to let those know whom do not have eye care insurance or are vets to please go by and fill out an application to see if you qualify for eye care assistance.
