Dr. Kautzman-Baker was wonderful. She was extremely thorough and knowledgeable. She explained everything in clear, concise detail and was very kind. I would highly recommend her if you need a new eye doctor.

Dr. Kautzman is amazing! I've been going to her for four years now and she provides my contact and glasses prescription. Every year, she's consistent and thorough with her exam. Also, she treats you like a human being and takes time to make sure you're taken care of. I will continue to travel to see her because her service is unparalleled. Thank you!

I have seen her twice in the past but since she does not accept insurance I have gone back to my old optometrist. The last time I saw my regular eye doctor I waited for 45 minutes and gave up, I was rescheduled with a newer doctor and did not care for her at all. I am going to go back to Dr. Kautzman and pay out of pocket and put in a reimbursement form for my insurance. She is truly the best, she got my contacts right the first time and did for me what my regular doctor could not.

Dr. Kautzman-Baker is so very personable! She takes her time to explain and she treats you like you're worth her time. I can't remember a more pleasant appointment. I will be a devoted patient.

Dr. Kautzman-Baker is phenomenal! She's personable and great at what she does. She is thorough in her exams and follows up to make sure everything is going well. I can't say enough good things about her.

I started going to Dr. Kautzman when I was about 16. Went to her until I was 30. Only stopped going to her because I moved away. If I was still in San Antonio, she'd still be go to Optometrist. I would have followed her to this new location. She is by far THE best to me. Replacing her was one the hardest things I had to do. HIGHLY recommend her Dr. Kautzman, if you see this, just wanted to say "Hi!" and that I miss you. Dr's here in Las Vegas don't compare to you.

To start I just want to say I really did enjoy my daughters visit with her initially. Unfortunately her business practices are questionable. I took my daughter for a walk in visit, Dr. Kautzman seemed really nice and explained if I was willing to wait she would see my daughter I was in no real hurry so I decided to stay. I asked if she took superior vision, she explained that due to Sam's club actually owning the equipment her office is not able to bill my insurance company. She stated however that on the superior vision website I would be able to submit the claim form she would provide for me and I would get reimbursed for the cost I spent that day. She seemed knowledgeable and pleasant so I decided to pay cash for the visit. I left the office happy with the visit, however when I logged in to my superior vision site there was no way to submit a claim. The only contact was through email and phone. I called the superior help line and I was informed that I was not allowed to submit claims as they would be flagged as out of network. I explained what dr Kautzman told me, gave them her information and the same answer was given to me by two representatives and a supervisor. They informed me that her office was responsible for sending that form to them not myself as it would be flagged as out of network. I called Dr. Kautzman,spoke to her reception and explained the situation and she assured me the doctor would call me back. She called back in her same cheery voice and started to repeat what she had told me the day of my visit. I explained to her that I've been on the phone with superior vision all week and they all said it wasn't the way it worked. Dr.Kautzman stated "you just need to talk to some who actually knows what their doing" I assured her I spoke to a supervisor and was told the same thing. Dr. Kautzman then stated you are the only patient who has ever come to me with this problem you simply have to go on their website and file. That irritated me, I flat out told her I think she's running a cash scam giving false information about insurances. She said I hurt her feelings and all I had to do was call superior again ask to speak to someone else that knows what their doing. I told her it was her offices duty to follow up on that. She reluctantly took my daughters information and the 800 number from superior. I do not expect her to do much but I have already contacted sams club to let them know she is giving out false information on insurance claims. It really does seem to me she's running a bait and switch game, telling every patient that walks in that she'll take the cash but can give them a super billing form for you to mail out and be reimbursed. Note she does not verify insurance information or even look at insurance cards to be sure she is within network. Tread lightly and expect to pay cash.

Very good service and well versed in explaining problems. Highly recommend! She said one her tests has a 98 percent of catching an aneurysm or brain tumour in the earliest stage. Every three months she will have to tell a patient this horrible news, but since it is caught so early, the chances of survival are increased 100 fold. So in addition to giving a great eye exam, she probably saves 4 lives a year!
