Dr Marten & her entire staff know how to treat their patients with compassion, respect & with the utmost professionalism that I have ever witnessed among all industries. This is the place you need to visit should you have any issues with your eyes.
Dr Marten ( Dr. Cunningham) also love art, you can see it on the walls, so she loves the human eye. I love the art in the office, its not the most expensive, but it is not the cheapest either. I would love to upgrade the pieces here, however, there is no need, the art is perfect for the type of office it is, it serves a purpose & that it is Strategically placed for the pleasure of their patients.
The Cuban Dr. With the beard or goat tee is a Professional, I cannot begin to express the conversation he sared with me about the foundr of this location and Dr Marten's turn key transition of this office.

My mother, prior to her demise years ago, was a patient of Dr. Lisa Marten. As her caregiver I witnessed the superior service Dr. Marten and her staff gave my mother. Now as a patient, I receive the same special service. Her staff and her doctors execute the most impeccable high quality service, and today was no exception. Dr. Shah remembered me from last year and was extremely helpful in explaining my medical results and answering my questions. Everyone, in his and her capacity, is well-trained, well-versed and the teamwork is the best I have ever seen in any medical institution. As a former Human Resources Director I see that Dr. Marten has valuable and exemplary employees, and it is evident in their work. Thank you so much, and I had a glowing report!!!

Checked in on time at noon for cataract surgery for my wife. I sat in waiting room with my wife who had been fasting and without liquids since the night before as required. It was 4pm when my wife was at last called to go in for the 20 minute surgery. It is 5:30 now and she is still not out. Complete disrespect for patient time. This sort of thing ALWAYS happens at her office but it's shocking that they manage to severely overbook surgery as well.

The building exterior and waiting area are unimpressive but reception personnel are awesome. Once you get taken back to the serious business it is awesome. The equipment is obviously state of the art, exams are very thorough, the people are knowledgeable and nice. Dr. Marten is the BEST! I love this place. I go, my wife goes, and my 95 year old mom goes here.

I am pleased by the care I receive at the Eye Institute. Dr. Leon is thorough, pleasant, answers questions. I trust the competence of staff and the willingness to do what is necessary to preserve my vision. The wait time tends to be very long, however. Today I spent 3 hours in the offices for a procedure which took 5 minutes. The wait time is the reason for 4 stars instead of 5. I am pleased that office staff wear facial masks, observe social distancing, and are alert to patients not doing so. It was good to see that a technician reminded a woman, who was not using her mask, to cover her face. (Unfortunately I few minutes later I observed the woman with her mask falling off.)

Very professional and efficient staff who are also nice and caring. Dr Marten is excellent, she did both cataracts lens replacements and a laser fix. She is super knowledgeable and shares it, making me feel well taken care of. I've been to other eye clinics with less than good results, sticking with Dr. Marten and sending friends and family to her.

I always have a pleasant experience every time I visit. Today was no different. Upon entering I was greeted by the front desk nurse with a cheery good afternoon. I was slightly early for my appointment. I was immediately told that was okay and that they running behind just a little. I was told that it would be 30/35 minutes before I was called back and that the appointment could be a couple hours long. I must say that didn't happen. I was called back only after waiting 15 minutes. When I got to the back I was immediately seen by the doctor who was super pleasant! Tests were ran and I was done within an hour, from beginning to end! Thanks to the whole staff for a wonderful experience!

My experience with office front seat staff was terrible I got there early for my appointment and the front desk staff failed to sign me in I had to wait 35 min until I finally went to her and remind her I was still waiting and then she finally signed me in after that she instructed somebody to rush me in I felt that this appointment was rushed they failed to do an exam that is normally done after they sign you in they dilated my eyes barely sat down and was called to be checked I felt that everything was rushed the Drs experience was good felt confidence in her sense she has seen me for two years but overall felt that after having to wait and see everyone else been called except for me felt this appointment was rushed my symptoms of my eyes being dialated I felt them after leaving office which made it difficult for my after activities and feel that I was not examined like I should have been due to I am a diabetic Customer and I feel that I was not taken care of like they normally do the technicians were friendly but overall felt rushed. Feel that this institution need to be more caring and careful with the patient needs.
