I had LASIK eye surgery with this doctor about five years ago. Unfortunately, my experience after the procedure was disappointing. Since the surgery, I have dealt with ongoing dry eyes and discomfort, and I never really felt that my eyes fully healed or that the results were completely right. What concerned me the most was the lack of follow-up from the office. After a procedure as important as LASIK, I expected someone from the clinic to check on my recovery. In my case, no one reached out. The only time I received guidance was when I personally called the office to explain the dryness and discomfort I was experiencing, and I was simply told to use eye drops or gels. Follow-up care is very important after a procedure that affects your vision, and I personally expected more support and monitoring during the recovery process. I hope the clinic improves their post-surgery follow-up so that future patients receive the care and attention they need after LASIK.

My experience with Dr.Manrique and his staff was great! I came in legally blind and left with 20/15 vision after the Lasik surgery! I had my LASIK surgery yesterday at Manrique Custom Vision Center, and I am absolutely amazed with the results. My vision before the procedure was very bad (around -2.25 in both eyes), and today at my follow-up I can already see 20/15 in both eyes -- with zero pain! The entire procedure took only a couple of minutes, and everything was explained to me clearly. The staff was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and supportive. They guided me step by step on what to do before and after the surgery, which made me feel comfortable and confident throughout the whole process. We drove five hours to Manrique Custom Vision Center for my LASIK surgery, and it was absolutely worth every mile. From start to finish, everything operated like a well-oiled machine. The receptionist, the consultation team, Dr. manrique and the surgical staff were all incredibly kind, professional, and informative. They made me feel completely at ease and treated me as if I were the only patient in the office. Every step was explained clearly, and their confidence and care gave me so much peace of mind. From busted to golden. They made me see 20/20 in a matter of minutes. No pain no problem. Was super nervous at first. However they made me very comfortable. Try them out worth every penny.

I went to Manrique's Custom Vision Center about 2 months ago. My intention to go through the lasik surgery, every one was great. But due to family issues, i could go through the procedure. I called the office once and spoke to the financial office and was told I had to pay $3000. I don't remember he saying about the $3000, if I cancelled. Speaking to the credit card company, the office haven't card the credit card comoany to adjust the balance. I called 4 time and noone is calling me back. Unsatified customer the the process is to their benefit. As of today, i'm still waiting for some one from the financial office to call me. I compare it to the car dealership, they don't care what happens to you financially.

At first I was very nervous, but with help of numbing drops was completely painless. Im still adjusting, but coming from -12.0 to now almost there to 20/20. I have wanted this my whole life! I should have done this 10 yrs ago. Thank you for giving the gift of eyesight without glasses. Its awesome!!!
