The staff got me in the same day I called with an issue I was having. My wait time in the office was short and the staff was friendly and personable. I saw Dr. Sharma and she quickly diagnosed my issue and clearly explained how and why it would be treated. She was patient with my questions and pleasant to interact with. Thanks to the whole team for a positive experience.

My experience with the doctors and staff has been excellent. My concern is with the billing. I feel the billing department should be audited. The timing of the charges are suspicious and unfamiliar. Something is off with the charges and an audit should be conducted to eliminate fraud. I do not trust the collection process and feel I have been billed more than once for the same charge. And the charges are hard to defend when the bill is from 2 years ago. Something is off and they should be investigated.

Doctor and exam was great. The front doesn't handle billing well. I met my deductible and wanted me to pay my normal payment. I even called insurance and they said their calculation was incorrect should be 10%. She said she doesn't come up with that it's someone else and they may have stepped away. Mentioned I would not pay that higher bill to wait for a refund. She also asked if I wanted to cancel the appointment. I said I am willing to pay the 10% she said she would need to get with a manager. Said they would make an exception this time but I need to pay what they come up with. So may need to reconsider a place that knows how to bill.

Dr Fisher and each person made the whole appointment a delight! I don't remember the name of the technician who examined me first and did all the preparation for seeing the doctor, but she's was wonderful! So friendly, efficient, and explained everything she was doing so patiently.

I had my first visit with MCOA which also was my first eye exam in 10+ years. The facility itself was very clean, very modern, and very poised.
I was very impressed with how thorough the nurse and Dr. Alvarez were. They were kind to me, patient and very informative. They explained the process of each step from start to finish. Dr. Alvarez went an extra step for me by considering my on-going headaches and making sure all tests that could give possible answers/clarity/peace of mind before my neurology appt were had and encouraged me to schedule for these two additional tests. She explained what they were and why they would be helpful which is also appreciated.
I am so pleased by my visit and experience. And I'm looking forward to being a continuing patient.
