A Doctor Who Truly Goes Above and Beyond: Dr. Arthur Medina It's not often that you come across a doctor who genuinely puts patients first, but Dr. Arthur Medina did exactly that for me. After a frightening firework-related eye incident, I was preparing myself for a long, stressful day in the emergency room. Instead, Dr. Medina went above and beyond--he came in on his day off to see me. That alone says a lot about his dedication and character. Dr. Medina was calm, reassuring, and extremely thorough. He took the time to explain everything clearly and made sure I felt comfortable and cared for throughout the visit. His expertise and compassion turned what could have been a very overwhelming situation into a manageable one. I also want to recognize Susan, who was incredible throughout the process. Together, Susan and Dr. Medina not only provided excellent care but also saved me from spending the entire day in the ER, which I am beyond grateful for. Thanks to their quick action and professionalism, I received the care I needed without unnecessary stress or delay. Experiences like this remind you how impactful truly dedicated healthcare professionals can be. If you are looking for an eye doctor who genuinely cares about their patients and is willing to go the extra mile, I cannot recommend Dr. Arthur Medina highly enough.

If you're looking for up to date, expert eye care you can't do better than Arthur Medina. Dr Medina is a smart cookie who has patented eye treatments he helped develop. He stays on top of current technology. He carefully explains any issues your eyes may be having. He has a wonderful referral list of specialists for any need you may have.

I visited this office in June after developing a severe stye while traveling home from Japan. Dr. Medina spent less than five minutes with me, criticized me for not coming in sooner despite my international travel, and later told me to see a specialist without much guidance or reassurance. Paying a $50-$80 copay for such a brief, rushed visit felt unfair, and I am now receiving calls about an additional unexplained balance. Overall, the experience felt lacking in empathy, communication, and billing transparency.

All the staff is cordial, very professional, and quick to begin tending to their patient. And Dr Medina too is very thorough and precise in determining if an updated prescription is needed or not.

I had the best experience here with Dr Medina!! He is a miracle worker! He really took the time to make sure I had the best prescription possible with how bad my eyes were! He provided so much clarity in my vision that I never thought I'd get back without corrective surgery! The amazing staff was very nice and comforting! I went to Dr. Medina for my annual eye exam. He was very thorough, professional, and has a great sense of humor. I appreciated the recommendations about eye care above and beyond just taking out my contacts after 12 hours. His staff are excellent too!

Great spot for an eye exam with very friendly staff, but I recommend purchasing your glasses elsewhere. When buying frames and lenses, they applied all available discounts through my insurance and told me no additional savings were available. But, I checked the VSP website and found an extra discount that should have been applied. She was able to apply it but still not a great look. The bigger issue came after the purchase. I needed the glasses shipped to another address in Texas, and they arrived damaged. Medina immediately blamed the delivery carrier and required me to pay to ship them back for a warranty exchange. Overall, the eye exam experience was excellent, but the level of "friendliness" during the sales process didn't translate into actually being helpful or customer-focused.
