Parkhurst NuVision LASIK Eye Surgery - San Antonio Office

Staff at Parkhurst NuVision made me feel so comfortable! They answered all of the questions I had, really educated me on all the different types of surgery. The day of the procedure was so easy and I was so comfortable. It's only been one day since surgery (I had it done yesterday morning, EVO-ICL) and I was able to drive myself to my follow-up appointment this morning! I'm most excited to go to the beach and be able to see the sunrise, sunset, wear sunglasses, and paint! I'm an artist so my vision is so important to me, I wish I had done this sooner! I chose Dr Parkhurst because of the amazing staff and how nice everyone was. I'm extremely satisfied with Parkhurst NUVISION staff and pristine facilities. Super happy with my referral from my optometrist. I highly recommend! My only regret is not doing this sooner! I haven't been able to see without glasses since the 2nd grade! It's truly a dream come true.

We had an excellent experience at Nuvision from start to finish. My mom had cataract surgery in both eyes, and the entire process was handled with professionalism and care. From verifying insurance to the follow-up calls after surgery, everything was seamless and well organized. The staff was kind, patient, and thorough in answering all of our questions. The surgical team made my mom feel comfortable and confident every step of the way. We are truly grateful for such a smooth and positive experience. Highly recommend!

The staff here is absolutely amazing. They are very helpful and have answered all of the questions that I've had. They are very patient Dr. Velma at Texas eye med recommended me this facility and I am so glad. This office helped me when I had a retinal tear and made sure I was taken care of. Today is one day after my EVO ICL procedure and my vision is so good. I have been wearing glasses since elementary and I am now in my 40s. Dr. Libfraind did an amazing job at keeping me calm during the procedure. She has a very calm and soothing voice.

My first visit with Parkhurst nuvision made me feel at ease and felt so welcomed. I was well informed and everyone was very professional. Jessica who worked me up was so kind and amazing. All my questions were answered and they made sure I understood when scheduling my procedure. During my procedure It went quick and smooth. Dr. Libfraind was very careful and made sure I felt good throughout the procedure. Everyone is the surgery center was professional and nice. I'm excited to read more with my new vision, drive more safely on the street. And be able to travel more. Dr. Amaro-Cora referred me to Parkhurst and I'm so glad I listened and came. This has changed my life completely. This office is so clean and organized and everyone has been so helpful and I appreciate everyone. Especially Brandon with my post op care. If I had to choose two words to describe this office it would be professional and caring!

We originally were looking into another facility in San Antonio but they ended up canceling our appointment after I already drove from Laredo. The process to getting my RLE surgery was so smooth. To paint the picture lastThursday I called Parkhurst Nuvision and they gave me a pre-op appointment the same day. Now a week later I had my RLE surgery. Everybody here was amazing. The facility is very clean and everyone is very nice. My vision is great and I am so glad I was able to get in quickly

Going into my journey here, I originally had no idea how bad my vision was before my cataract surgery. The first thing I noticed today, the day after my surgery is that I can see everything so much clearer, like it is in 3D. The anesthesiologist was amazing and had the best bedside manner. The time spent at my consultation and even at my post op appointment was the most I've ever spent with a doctor, they are so thorough and attentive. I hadn't heard of this facility but my doctor Dr. Thompson referred me. I was apprehensive because it is my vision, but my faith in God allowed me to be calm.

My vision before Parkhurst NuVision was not the best. I had the fear of what if I lost my glasses in an accident/catastrophe or not being able to identify someone. This worry on top of having to find/wear my glasses or contacts in the morning was something I had to do daily. I depended on my glasses to drive, watch tv, read, work- all of those things. This was until my eye doctor, Dr. Choy referred me here to have surgery with Dr. Parkhurst. At my initial consult visit, even from the first phone call everyone was so nice and personable. Kudos to Cory for explaining everything to me and letting me know that I was a candidate for surgery. I felt very comfortable from the beginning, it was just getting over my fear of having something done. At first, I thought I might be a candidate for LASIK/SMILE but Cory did a great job at explaining the benefits of RLE trifocal. The team explained everything and what to expect before/during/after surgery. I got to meet Dr. Libfraind before the surgery and she was very kind and knowledgeable and made sure all of my questions were answered so that I'm comfortable with my decision and trust in Parkursts Teams care. I also met Dr. Parkhurst who did my surgery and he did amazing work & also made sure I was comfortable. Thank you to the nurses/anesthesiologist/surgery staff as well for making sure all of my questions were answered and that I was comfortable. I've been wearing glasses since fifth grade(at least 4 decades:) but the first day out of surgery my vision was amazing. I had the eye shield on but I could see much more already than I did before without my glasses/contacts. Cory, Dr. Nettleton, Dr. Libfraind and Dr. Parkhurst all did a stellar job at explaining everything before, during &/or after surgery. It is truly incredible! I have heard other people's story from Parkhurst NuVision, but to experience it myself has me very thankful/blessed for my sight and the ability to go through this journey. I like to swim and have lost glasses in the water, but now after my surgery I can't wait to actually enjoy the water and not be as hesitant and also just enjoy the small things in life with my new vision. It's also been amazing to wake up and clearly see without having to find/wear glasses/contacts. I am very thankful for the awesome support, surgeons and all the doctors/staff(Lauren, Meagan, Terri, Sam + all the helpful team members(sorry to forget names as everyone has been great)! Amazing experience with my EVO ICL procedure!! I'm writing this 1 day post-op seeing 20/20. I've had a moderately high myopic prescription with astigmatism and have worn glasses and contacts since I was 8 years old. This procedure has already changed my life - no more reaching for my glasses or spending extra time caring for contacts (not to mention the dry eye associated with them). I'm SO thankful for the doctors, especially Dr. Hirabayashi, who worked so hard to get my lenses delivered quick. The entire pre and post op process was intricately thought out and they really take the time to educate you and make you feel at ease. Love it here and will recommend everyone to come.
