My wife had Cataract surgery by Dr Winters on both eyes recently. She is 73 and has a hard time with her vision being worse since before her surgery. She has been seeing Dr. Delay for follow ups but was having a hard time remembering her issues with her appointments. I asked to go into the exam room with her or talk to Dr. Delay after her examination and was told his policy allows neither. I would have to talk to a tech if I wanted any communication on her issues with a Dr. We cancelled the appointment and was told we would have to pay a cancellation fee. We then requested an appointment with Dr Winters and was told we couldn't make an appointment without paying cancellation fee. I have never experienced a Dr who would not talk to a spouse when she was having issues. I would not recommend any Dr that would not provide care for their patient..

Dr. Delay is one of the most caring, knowledgeable doctors I've ever met. He takes care of, not just myself, but my entire family! From my son, to my parents, to my siblings and their kids! The staff is wonderful and caring! He explains his testing and findings in a way I can understand and I trust him with my eye care completely. Little to no wait time... I'm usually taken back within 10 min of checking in and my entire appointment is over within the hour. Very unheard of for most doctor visits!! I do and will always continue to refer anyone that needs eye care to KDW and Dr. Delay specifically.

My mother went to see Dr. Delay and was cheated out of her office visit fee. Shes an elderly woman who was seeking his advice to cure the issue she had with her eyes. She was advised by Dr. Delay that there was no problem, so my mother went to see another specialist and was told by that Dr. that her vision was compromised by the misdiagnosis of Dr.Delay. She had Fuchs disease and could possibly lose her vision. I DO NOT RECOMMEND Dr. Delay and on top it all he refused to refund any monies to her. Stay vigilant with your eye Doctor especially Dr. Richard L. Delay O.D.

I have been a patient of Dr. Delay for 20+ years. Always very through exams by his staff and himself. Excellent and caring in his treatment with consideration for prescription costs. I always refer friends to him when they are looking for a good doctor.

I had to routinely wait for 30 minutes beyond my appointment time to be seen. When I was 20 minutes late for an appointment (I was confused about the appointment time), I was told that I would have to reschedule. So, understand that his time is extremely important and yours is not. In addition, Dr. Delay fitted me for contacts and encouraged me to try the most expensive option. When I tried them on in the office, I was not able to see very well with them. He encouraged me to wear them for 2 weeks and assured me that if they did not work I could switch to the less expensive option and be refunded the difference in cost. After trying them for 2 weeks, the contacts were so bad that I felt uncomfortable wearing them while driving since everything was blurry. When I returned to his office and wanted to return the expensive contacts, I was told that this was not possible. After considerable discussion, his office agreed to refund the cost of the contacts but refused to fit me for different contacts and refused to refund the full cost of the contact fitting.

Dr. Delay is One of the most thorough and intellegent optomologist I have ever seen. My children and I have been seeing him for years. He has a great bedside manner and is great at explaining out overall vision and changes that may have occurred. I would highly recommend him.

Dr. Delay is the best Optometrist I've seen in my life, & I'm 75. He has the best bed side manner, or should I say chair side manner :o) Makes you feel comfortable, young or old.

Dr Delay is an excellent Optometrist. The service and staff are excellent. I highly recommend their facility.
