Dr. Corina is wonderful! My daughter loves seeing her. She's professional, kind, and explains everything clearly. We always feel well taken care of. Highly recommend!

Dr. Dyer and his team at San Antonio Eye Center are truly 10/10. They are professional, patient, and kind. I especially appreciate the care and respect they show my mother during every visit. Dr. Dyer explains everything thoroughly so we always understand what's going on, and his bedside manner is exceptional--genuine, kind, and patient. We always feel valued and well cared for.

I pick up my mom from Charlotte and take her to her appointment with Dr. Jimena Franco. It's an hour away but it's worth it. Dr. Franco is very compassionate and listens to mom tentatively and answers all her questions in Spanish which is amazing because mom can understand in Spanish better than in English. Every time mom sees Dr. Franco she makes recommendations that help mom to feel better. Mom is 91. She has severe dryness in her eyes and with age her vision is not as great as it was years ago. Having a dr like Dr. Franco is a blessing for my mom. Thank you Dr. Franco for your expertise.

The receptionist was very good. The medical assistance was excellent. The doctor was also very good; very businesslike. The office was clean and at 7:55am pretty prompt and on schedule. My reasons for 4 stars is due to the following: 1) I guess I was used to the old ways of doing your exam. When my previous ophthalmologist came in after his medical assistant, he "dialed in" my vision preference stating "which is better 1or 2, 2 or 3, 3 or 4" until we reached a point where another adjustment wasn't needed. After examining the back of my eyes Dr. Thomas concluded the visit. Apparently one of the steps done by the medical assistant "generated a computerized" prescription which is okay I guess, but I haven't purchased my new glasses to verify the prescription works well for me. I should have asked questions but I was a little confused. 2) The young woman handling the checkout, said "Dr. Thomas said to schedule you for next year with one of our Optometrists (not him). You have no copay today unless you want a prescription which it will be $45." I guess my puzzled look prompted her to add "Insurance doesn't cover refraction charge so that's why we require $45 to get a prescription". Of course i want a prescription because my eyesight has changed. Just a little different from the previous ophthalmologist who took care of me for 14+ years.

Dr. Corina Chapa was very professional and seems very caring about her patients. She answered all of my questions & concerns on my visit. I'd recommend her to my family as someone to put your trust in.

Assuming that it was the holiday season, year end appointments and short staffing that I had an extended wait time to be seen, it was a great experience once we got the exam started. Dr. Dyer is an excellent eye doctor and I trust his expertise to help with my eye issue. The staff was quick and efficient preparing me to see Dr. Dyer.

Saw Dr. Corina Chapa & she's so profession and also I feel she's very caring about her patients. She answered all of my questions & concerns. This will be two years of me seeing her & I am lucky to have her as my eye care provider. Her office in Alamo Heights has profession staff that are also very nice. I'd recommend her as someone to put your trust in.

Dr. Claudia Cala is highly professional, experienced and caring. She accommodated a last minute appointment involving a major eye issue, even though no other practices had immediate openings in the area. She identified my condition and took the time to carefully explain and describe results and treatment plan. She took the time to listen to my symptoms and patiently answered all my questions. She personally confirmed my prescriptions were sent to my pharmacy, and coordinated with another specialist to see me immediately on a specific item needing attention. My eye is rapidly improving after my visit her treatment plan. She is an excellent doctor/ophthalmologist. Highly recommend. 5 stars!
