Dr. Perez is amazing! Always takes the time to make sure I understand everything going on with my eyes to better my vision. The staff is always professional and friendly. They get everything properly ready for you and answer any questions you have. Have gone here for the past two years and will continue to visit this location. Service has been great each time and I love the selection of rotating frames!
I've been going to see Dr. Perez for at least 5 years now and I hope to continue seeing her until she retires! I have Sjogrens Syndrome and Rheumatoid Arthritis, so I need to take special care of my eyes. Dr. Perez is extremely informative and cares about your eyes just as much if not MORE than you do. I'll continue to recommend her to everyone I know!
Also, kudos to her staff! Sonia and Maria in particular. They're super helpful and always very delightful to interact with.
Dr. Perez and her staff are the best. I really enjoy going I the store for an evaluation or looking for glasses. She spent a plenty,of time with me and explained everything to me several times. I would recommend her for any kind of evaluation and they have a large selection of optical equipment. Very professional and helpful.

Dr Perez & her staff were awesome, understood & listened actively at all my questions. The examination technology is so much easier to do & follow. I even found the perfect glasses with their help. Thank you.
From the time I arrived, the front desk staff were courteous and Rueben was excellent in helping me finalize decisions. Dr. Perez took her time and addressed all my concerns in a caring and compassionate environment. I highly recommend this team for any issues concerning your eyes/eyewear. Professional, caring and knowledgeable. This place will be my go-to for eye care moving forward.
I have been a patient of TSO for a number of years and have always been very pleased with the level of care they have provided. Dr Perez is kind and compassionate as his her staff. If you are looking for a great optometrist, look no further!
Your response is misleading. It is poor customer service to not respond to an appointment request that was made prior to the "walk-in". It is disappointing that me, a long term patient to this practice, made an online appointment request and never heard back except from the automated confirmation that the request was received. Unfortunately I thought that meant I had an appointment. However, there was still an available appointment slot for one of the times I requested, so I was not worked in since there was an available appointment.
I am not sure what this "prior dissatisfaction" you are referring to.
In my opinion, the quality of care and patient experience has gone down from when the Fortenberry's were there.
Given the fact that your policy is to have your eyes dilated or you will be removed from the practice takes away the patients ability/right to refuse. I was told that I would be removed from the practice when I wouldn't get my eyes dialated on the spot for an appointment in the past (due to post appointment plans I couldn't have that part of the exam done, but I came back a different day for just the dilation).
I was not personally reached out to over this matter, you reached out to my mom's cell number over this review instead of the actual patient (the confirmation request text was to me, so you have my number on file). If you did reach out to me personally, sorry I missed it, my intention was not to completely ignore you.
From what it sounds like you are kicking me out. It is unprofessional to fire a long term patient over Google reviews (especially over ONE review).
But of course, this is all my opinion that I'm apparently not allowed to have :)

Under previous management this optometrist was amazing, but since ownership change years ago, it has drastically changed. There always seems to be issues and I am extremely disappointed in the quality of care here. The most recent example is that I sent a request for multiple appointment slots. All I got was a text saying it was under review. They never confirmed any of my requests. I arrive day of, and one of the slots I selected was still available. They did not accept the request. Unbelievable. If service changes I will update this post.
I live in Austin, and even with so many options closer to me, I choose to come here because of the outstanding service and care. From the moment I walk in, the staff is welcoming and professional, and I always feel valued as a patient. Amazing doctor she takes the time to listen, explain things clearly, and truly cares about her patients' eye health. It's rare to find someone with her level of expertise and compassion. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for top-quality eye care.
