I just had my cataract surgery yesterday 12/4/25 on the left eye. I must say I was very scared but once I met with Dr Starck I knew I was in good hands. He is such a magnificent, caring and outstanding doctor. I have been with Dr Starck for a very long time since he was practicing at UTHSC, when he corrected my vision with Lasik surgery. Yes time has passed but his expertise and professionalism remains the same. I have an immense trust in Dr Starck, he is the only doctor I trust to operate on my eyes. I look forward in having my right eye operated next week. Thank you Dr Starck for your caring heart and god healing hands.

I've been a patient at Ultravision for 11 years since having PRK performed by Dr Starck. I go every year for my annual to check my vision. In 2024 I developed regression of my vision. I am supposed to have lifetime warranty to have a revision performed to correct my vision. Two years ago I was told by Dr Starck he couldn't perform the surgical revision but I should keep going to keep the warranty. So he gave me a prescription for glasses. I'm losing my vision more and more every year and nothing can be done until 5 years from now. I pay $95 for an annual with a 3% surcharge for them to tell me I'm losing my vision. Then today they charge me for the first time in 11 years $45 with a 3% surcharge for my glasses prescription. Then, in order to get contacts it's $83 with a 3% surcharge. What is the warranty for??? Why do I pay $95 dollars for a new optometrist every year to tell me I'm losing more and more of my vision to keep a warranty for a revision that the surgeon can't fix?

I have pterygum surgery with Dr. Tomy Starck and it was easy, peaceful, fast and amazing, no pain and fast recovery, I was nervous but they have a great team in the hospital so your easy to feel secure. He explain the procedure before the surgery and it was exactly what he did, not surprises, not extra charge. He speaks English and Spanish and it is really nice doctor.

What a joke of a business. Went for a "consult" which was waiting 30 minutes to have the medical assistant tell me the price and say to schedule an appointment with the doctor. Why isn't that something done over the phone?

Came in for a consultation, everyone was so quick and nice. After doing a routine eye exam they then told me I could come in a week for surgery, the day of surgery I was super nervous but the staff and the doctor were great. I felt so comfortable and didn't feel a thing. Dr Starck did an amazing job and now I can finally see without my glasses or contacts. Thank you Dr Starck and all the staff at Ultra Vision for making my experience a good one!

The staff were extremely helpful and friendly upon my first visit and setting everything up for my Lasik appointment. On the day of surgery, the nurses were very expedient and got me prepped quickly and the surgery itself was extremely quick and much easier than expected! Was able to see very clearly by the next morning and able to drive with no difficulties. Thanks again to all the staff for getting me in here and fixing my vision!

I now have had both eyes done when Dr. Starck removed my cataracts. He is really amazing because he chose the perfect lens to put in my eyes. I not only was nearsighted, but I had bad astigmatism in both eyes! I now have better than 20 20 vision! It is so great that at 63 years old I don't have to wear glasses or contacts any longer. Their attention to detail is also very comforting. I highly recommend this facility and Dr. Starck. His staff is also amazing! Thanks UltraVision!

Dr. Starck gave me back something I have not had in years..ability to see clearly. I've worn corrective lenses, glasses and contacts, since I was a child. My entire adult life my vision without correction, was a total blur. The clear lens exchange he performed on my eyes has been nothing short of a miracle. After the surgery I immediately was able to see clearly. It's been two days since my lens exchange and it only continues to get better. I am grateful to him and his wonderful staff that helped me recover something I have not had in years..clear vision without correction. Thank you Dr Starck and team!
