I had a wonderful experience during my eye exam at Vision Source at MacArthur Park. The staff, from the front desk to the optical team, were all incredibly friendly and helpful. The check-in process was smooth, and I appreciated the assistance I received while selecting eyewear. I am so glad I found this vision source office. They provide a personal touch and allow me to make an informed decision. I LOVE my new Varilux progressive lenses. Gone are the days of looking over the top of my glasses or removing them so I can read. Save your money and go to Target Optical or shop around first! I used to get my glasses from Vision Source until one day a worker scratched my lens and the company refused responsibility by replacing the glasses. They wanted to charge me. Second experience - they just charged my husband over $1000 for 2 pair of glasses and insisted he needed bifocals. Wonder how many people they tell that to. He called 2-3 days later after placing order bc he found the exact same pair at Target optical for less than $400 for both pairs! And their response was there's nothing they could do. Not to mention Target has $20 insurance on the glasses to replace them if ANYTHING happens to them!

I cannot say enough good things about the staff here, especially ms.Beatrice Rodriguez. She helped my husband out so much today and took her time to go over his insurance plan and give us advice on what was best, for the best price. Good energy and amazing at what they do. Thank you.

The Eye Dr side of it i would give 10 stars if I could. But the glasses side 0 stars. I have been coming to the MacArthur park location for at least 6 yrs and everytime something goes wrong with my glasses. I get told we'll it's your insurance, for the past 6 yrs it's been my insurances fault. So this time I was time my glasses were due back over a week ago. I got a text saying my lenses were cut wrong it was going to be a 4 to 5 business day delay. So I called the 4 days after my glasses were due and I was told that my glasses were broke when they went to put the lenses in. I'm sorry which one was it were my lenses cut wrong or did they break my glasses. So apparently it was both, when i asked for some kind of compensation I was told I got new glasses umm that's what I paid for so yes you had to replace the glasses you broke I didn't. Then I was told we'll I called you wi5h the update I said you never called I got a text not a phone call I called you. Mrs. B said I left a VM I said you never called me she said all calls are recorded ok then go back and listen cause you never left me a VM I called you all I got was a text saying that their was a delay due to lenses being cut wrong I called and was told the frames were broke (which wasn't broke when I bought them) so yes you have to replace what was broken by whomever. So I had to wait an additional week for my glasses no ruch was put on them no communication until I called in. And this wasn't the first time something like this has happened. They are well over priced and poor customer service.
