Walmart Vision & Glasses

Ordered my OAKLEYs from here and am overall pleased with not only the outcome of the glasses , but the service as well. The overall staff is very kind and seem to sincerely care about their customers. The manager, Miss Patty, Specifically gets an A+ from both my wife and I because of her concern and care throughout our buying process. This wasnt my first time getting my glasses here and is definitely not the last. Also this area as has been remodeled and looks great. Great job guys!

Avoid if you dislike surprise bills after payment and service is complete! No complaints about the optometrist at all. But on the optical side of the business... Service was ok at best. Friendly, but that's it. Apparently the idea of ensuring a good fit or providing advice on frame choice is gone. Helped walk me through the lens options and insurance coverage (we'll get back to that). Ordered the glasses. When I went to pick them up, it was just "ok here you go" and that was it. They seemed to have no thoughts of ensuring a proper fit of the frames. When I asked about adjusting them, they seemed annoyed and even a bit confused. Now, over 2 months later, I get a call from a number which google says is a scammer. But it's actually Walmart's Vision Billing (or something like that) saying I owe them more money because my insurance denied part of the claim. After a bit of work to verify that the number I had and the amount were "legitimate", I started trying to figure out what went wrong. Vision Center at the store is clueless. Insurance says it's an option they do not cover (It just shows as "deluxe lens option"). I don't remember any "deluxe lens option". I was told everything was being covered besides my copay (which I paid that day), but then... SURPRISE! "You actually owe us more which we failed to inform you about when you agreed to the purchase." They did say "oh, well we can allow you to return them even though it's after the 60 day"...but my insurance benefit wouldn't reset since that was last year and I'd have to forego my appointment and benefits scheduled for the end of this year. In short, Walmart charged my incorrectly based on what THEIR system showed, and AFTER I had paid for the order, taken possession, and was past the point to truly make everything right, are trying to charge me for THEIR MISTAKE. Their only response thus far has been "you'll have to talk to your insurance". My insurance benefits are clearly stated. Why did your system fail to assess that properly?

Great experience getting my eye exam done, Neal did a good job helping me choose which frames best fit me. Will definitely make this my to go place for getting glasses.

After trying several times just too get my new glasses fitted correctly to wear which they couldn't do I gave up I returned the glasses and went to wallmart and purchased a new pair of rimless bifocal glasses Brian was amazing very processional and courteous. Then returned in ten days and was fitted by Patty I was amazed how they fit. Unlike the previous places I went who couldn't even adjust glasses to fit correctly. The staff were professional at their jobs to get it all gone correctly on the first try. I 100 % recommend this place and will only use them for any future glasses.

My glasses lost a screw and I was really screwed because I couldn't see! Couldn't do the job myself and came to this location. Rachel was amazing and not only replaced the crew but she made adjustments all at no cost! As soon as I put them on I was completely BRAND NEW Thank you so much Rachel

Went here to buy new glasses and was delighted by my visit! The opticians Rachel and Neal were so incredibly kind, attentive, and enthusiastic. I really felt educated and encouraged in my fitting and choice of glasses as they created such a warm safe space. I cannot recommend or thank them enough!! I have a lot of anxiety visiting new stores but I will be returning to this one as much as possible. I'm super grateful that buying new glasses was this much of a highlight to my week. Tina saved the day when she performed a miracle on my eyeglasses. I was visiting family in San Antonio and accidentally stepped on my eyeglasses. She was friendly and professional and knew just what to do. My eyeglasses are as good as new! Bless you Tina!

Walked in to get my glasses repaired and Tina was so friendly and inviting. She helped me repair my glasses in under 5 minutes :) Quick, kind, and efficient.
