W.E.Care Optometry - DeZavala

Dr. Yu has been incredible in helping me manage my eye issues. I previously had shingles in my eye, which resulted in chronic dryness and light sensitivity, especially with fluorescent lighting. He takes the time to explain my condition and my prescriptions so I always understand what's going on. When I've had issues--like vision problems caused by an incorrect pupillary distance--he listened carefully, immediately understood the problem, and addressed it without dismissing my concerns. He has also supported me with FMLA and work accommodations related to my eye condition, and all of his treatment recommendations have worked well for me. The staff is just as incredible. Nora, Carmen, and Taylor all have great personalities, and the team dynamic is phenomenal. Whenever I call and hear it's Nora, Carmen, or Taylor, I know I'm being taken care of. I'll never forget how warmly Amy greeted me during my first visit--it really left an impression. I also prefer this location because it's bigger and not in a busy area like the locations inside Target. And as a bonus, I love the crochet vibe in the office. Highly recommend We Care Optometry.

Let me tell you about our experience at We Care Optometry--aka the place where glasses are cooler than superheroes and Dr. Williams is the real MVP! From the moment we walked in, my son went from "I'm not sure about this..." to "Can we come here every day?" faster than you can say "retinal scan." Dr. Williams didn't just do an eye exam--she made it a whole event. There were giggles, high-fives, and one extremely serious attempt at trying on every frame in the building (see photo evidence ). And let's talk about the glasses selection: they had style, they had flair, and somehow, they made my kid look even cuter (a nearly impossible task). Dr. Williams has the patience of a saint and the charm of a stand-up comedian. She explained everything in kid-friendly terms and kept us smiling the whole time. The staff? Total rockstars. Friendly, efficient, and probably part-time magicians because our visit felt way too fun to be a medical appointment. We left with perfect frames, a huge grin, and a new family tradition--We Care Optometry or bust! Would I recommend them? Absolutely. Would I trust Dr. Williams to babysit during an eye exam? Also yes. 10/10 experience. Would blink twice to go back. -- One happy parent of a freshly-glasses-rockin' little legend

I went to this place to get contacts and lens.. they did the exam which was perfect .. staff was sweet and so nice. My problem came when i was struggling to put contacts in for the first time in a long time .. I managed to get them in but they stated I needed to be shown how to take them out to make sure I remember how too.. so I was like okay... they didn't mention how it will add an extra $120 to my charge &' that my insurance doesn't cover the " training " .. I didn't know they charged a fee as they didn't mention it, and even with the fee and not knowing my insurance doesn't cover it. I didn't have an option of knowing it cost that much and if I did I would've never done it as I knew how to remove contacts I was just struggling with it being so long since I've done it and I have nails .. during the exam I took them out and put them in without help.. please be cautious.. They are lovely people, but that wasn't professional nor nice of them.

Dr. Williams is amazing. Just having her here makes this place a 5/5. Sometimes the wait can be a little long, but that's almost anywhere you go. I haven't had a bad experience yet. :)

Dr. Williams is wonderful. She is fantastic with children. I took both of my little boys to her and she is patient, thorough, and her bedside manner is warm and so kind. I will only take my children to her because she does not recommended unnecessary treatment plans and I always ask her what SHE would do for her own children if she was in my position to make a decision for my kids eye care. I live across town but I will make the drive because she and her staff take incredible care of my children.

Dr. Williams and her staff are excellent and I highly recommend this office. Not only is the staff kind and caring, but Dr. Williams has a bed side manner unrivaled by any eye doctor I've ever seen. She loves her patients and has such a gentle and compassionate approach. My eye exams are never simple or easy because of my health but she always takes the time to listen and provide knowledgeable and helpful recommendations. The office is clean and welcoming, the staff warm and professional, and the process is always smooth and easy. No complaints, very satisfied every time I have an appointment.

I am grateful for all the services at W.E. Care Optometry. My experiences here have been more than satisfactory. Dr. Williams goes above and beyond to ensure I understand my exam results and what my options are. She is very knowledgable. I love the eyeglass selection and the prices are competitive for high quality glasses. I highly recommend them for the entire family.
