I was at at CTEC, SM, for an annual eye and contact appointment. After 3 hours, I had not had the full contact exam yet and still knew nothing about my eyes. I spent 25 minutes with a contact person, who only tried to sell me single day contacts, versus the 2-3 week wear, that I've worn for many, many years!!! I watched her enter info into the computer for 15 minutes and she left. At that point, I'd been there for 2 hrs, 45 minutes. I found a staff member and let them know I was done... A supervisor took over and I did see my Dr. briefly before I left. At least one hour of that 3 hour appointment, I spent waiting for the next eye test. I still need to return for a contact exam. No appreciation for the patient, for sure.

This was one of the worst medical experiences I've had. I spent over two hours for a basic eye exam. After intake and multiple room changes, I was left alone in an exam room for over an hour and forgotten. When I finally opened the door, the staff seemed shocked I was still there. After another 15 minutes, I was finally seen, only after being asked if I wanted to reschedule, even though I had taken time off work. By then, it was almost closing time. Since my eyes hadn't been dilated and I still needed to drive in the setting sun, I declined. This was a total waste of time and insurance. I only get one eye exam per year, and this was how it was used. Unacceptable.

Dr Jeffers is fantastic. He is very kind, but very thorough. He never rushes you. His staff is wonderful too. They really care about each patient.

Doctor Welsh is excellent and personable. He's on point and explains things well. His staff are very professional, great communicators, and friendly. I would highly recommend Central Texas Eye Center for your eye care needs.

Loved my doctor but I called Friday before my work trip so I could come back Wednesday to having my contacts ordered in. The phone call was great they said I could come back next week to pick them up. After my long and exhausting trip I stopped by to pick them up and there was no record of my call or order. I had to show the receptionist my phone log to prove I called, she said there was no order. I understand she was gone and someone else took the desk however how can you not make any record of my order... there was no apology and I was told they will be in within 3-5 business days which means I probably won't get them till NEXT week when I have already been waiting. I despise wearing my glasses and they are hard to keep on when working where I work. There should have been accountability as I did what I needed to do. Update: thank you! I was called immediately and was given the ability to get trials while I wait! Thank you very much for fixing it! And apologizing!

Very nice office, friendly and efficient staff, and doctor is calm, knowledgeable, and all business.

My PCP referred me to this location. After my initial visit with Dr Jeffers, it was recommended that a schedule a second visit a week later. Unfortunately, Dr Jeffers had an emergency and my early morning visit had to be canceled. The caller said we will call you later today to reschedule. 8 days later and no one has called. I am still experiencing eye pain and cloudiness. The staff forgot about me, unfortunate. Dr Jeffers was great but the intake staff need drastic improvements. I will be asking my PCP for another location referral.

Dr. Banh is extremely professional and caring. She took the time to explain my concerns in detail and i would highly reccommend her!
