Dr. Meinke was really knowledgeable and dealt with my two teenagers like a champ. The front office made it easy for scheduling and my one reschedule of the appointment I needed. Also, the smaller clinic has a great relationship with eye mart express next day which made all the difference in the world.

I needed a same day eye exam so I could get glasses and get out of my contacts. My eyes just needed a break. No one was available within 20 miles except Dr. Meinke, who had just one appt available. It was the last one of the day. Long story short, I got there late at 5 minutes before they closed. I told the front desk I can just go to Lens Crafters at the Rim in SA. I did not expect them to stay. Those wonderful ladies were so welcoming and told me no problem for them to stay..and with Beautiful smiles to boot! That is some great customer service for sure. It's a Saturday. I'm sure they have plans with their loved ones. Glad I stayed! Dr. Meinke was awesome and adjusted my Rx down and said it was too strong for me. No wonder I had headaches from my previous Rx. I got a better pair of contacts and went next door to Eyemart Express and got a great pair of glasses just an hour and a half later! Thank you all for such a great experience! I will definitely recommend!

Dr. Meinke did NOT listen to me when I wanted contacts specifically for my astigmatism. I went into his clinic twice, both times he said my astigmatism wasn't bad enough to require corrective lenses. I stated during my exam that I still felt my vision was blurry, and he ignored my complaint. I did not feel safe driving with what he prescribed me. I went to another clinic in San Antonio, and I did in fact need lenses to correct my astigmatism. And now I see perfectly. The receptionist at this clinic was warm, welcoming, and friendly. That was the most positive component of my visit.

We have used Dr. Meinke since he was in the Wal-Mart in Kyle. Friendly, attentive, and thorough. Our most recent visit was for both glasses and contact lens evaluation for our daughter. Even though she was frustrated with the contacts (first time user), Dr. Meinke and the staff were patient and helped her along until she was able to get them in her eyes.

I have been frustrated with my vision and decided to get my eyes checked. I went to Meinke Family eye care and was very pleased with the practice. I have never had glasses or contacts. I left with contacts that day! Miranda was amazing. She was very patient with me helping put my contacts on and removing them. She explained how to care for the contacts and most importantly my eyes when handling the contacts. She was very knowledgeable and helpful. I am thankful for her professionalism and patience when dealing with me. This practice is highly recommended. Great job Miranda

I have been seeing Dr. Jerad Meinke for about a decade for my eye care. I have followed him through 3 relocations because I trust him with my eyes and have always have had a pleasant experience. From the moment I arrived for my appointment, I was greeted by the friendly woman at the front desk. She provided me with any instructions needed to make the experience simple regarding my prescription and Dr. Meinke was thorough when explaining any questions I had regarding my eye health. Thanks! Eyes were examined for contacts. Got prescription and ordered 2 years worth of contacts. Left eye contact does not fit well and irritates my eye. Contact supplier sent a new set and still have the same issue. I have left several messages to get a call back and it never happens. I went to another optometrist and found out I was given the wrong prescription for my left eye. 125.00 wasted on eye exam and 500.00 wasted on contact lenses. I would not recommend this place
