By far one of the best optometrists I've seen for my keratoconus. As a new patient, the onboarding process was: simple, fast, and pleasent.
I was seeking to get fitted for scleral lenses for my keratoconus and the team at San Marcos Vision Center was very experienced with the process. Each member I interacted with knew the equipment well and made me feel like I was apart of their care family even though I was a new patient.
I could tell Dr. Mark Strum is very knowledgable and passionate about my condition. He was able to clearly explain to me the images that were captured of my eyes on their cutting edge equipment. The diagnostic equipment was also non intrusive allowing me to drive home immediately after the appointment.

It was a great experience from the front desk to meeting Dr Sturm. They took there time to explain what was going on with my blurry vision occurring. I did explain I had some anxiety about it being diabetes or other health concerns. Dr. Sturm really went above and beyond showing me pictures of all health concerns and simply explaining that it was just my vision. I definitely recommend going here for any eye concerns.
