Brookstone Eye Center

Everyone here was super nice but they got my prescription wrong. I had to order my glasses elsewhere because they didn't accept my insurance to order them. Glasses came in and I couldn't see. The company I ordered them from sent them off to get tested and confirmed they were made correctly. Went to another office to get a second exam. Brookstone had the "sphere" number on my prescription 2 points higher than it really was for both eyes. I am now out of money for the glasses (no refund since made correctly) and for the 2nd office visit. I've been wearing glasses for 20 years with yearly exams and never once had my prescription wrong until now. Very upsetting.

I've been a patient at Brookstone Eye Center for 15 years and I moved about 2 hours away. I will always make the drive to come see Dr. Kisner. I was having a major eye discomfort and was concerned and Dr. Kisner took time out of her day on Christmas Eve to come and relief my discomfort and concern that I was having. Dr. Kisner is such a personable doctor and is very helpful in breaking down the issue that was going on with my eye. They will take amazing care of you and your needs!

Jenny Kisnet is courteous and professional. She gave me a thorough exam and explained in detail about my eyes and answered all my questions. I would recommend her to all my friends and family. She made me feel very comfortable.

Dr. Kisner and the staff at Brookstone Eye Center are the best! I have never had a more thorough eye exam. Dr Kisner and Dr Solomons are great. They really took care of me when I had issues with my eyes. However, some of the administrative parts leave a lot to be desired: they charge a "New Patient Fee" upwards of a hundred dollars, have misinformed me on the bill I would be charged after the appointment, and more. Even with the administrative parts that give issues, Drs are great and make up for it.

Jeanie at the Bowie Clinic does an awesome job! Jeanie is personable, professional and so helpful! She anticipates needs and meets those needs before the patient/customer recognizes what's needed. Thank you, Jeanie, for going the extra mile!

Before going to Brookstone, I had to wear reading glasses in addition to my contacts when at my PC, Laptop etc. Dr. Sara Solomons corrected my lens and now I only have to wear reading glasses on very few occasions, and usually because of bad lighting in a restaurant! Called to get an appointment to see an opthamologist and after setting my appointment theres not one in house as adcertised... becautious of this place.. they only have optometrists. And also they charge a fee for new patients.
