What a great experience. From the phone call to set up the appointment to completion. Every single person was friendly, helpful, and seemed happy to be there. The doctor was was very personable as well. I'm so glad my friend referred me. Thank you to the entire team. (I dread the eye doctor like people dread the dentist...and I will happily go back and see Dr. Sheriff and his team again).

Great service. Great people come get you some glasses people. And some love too okay, I didn't wanna say, oh, add photos I can't do it yet. I aint got my glasses. I'll do another one when I get my glasses. But I had cataract removal in both eyes, and it was superb

PARENTS BEWARE. Went in for routine exam but he got the prescription wrong. When I went back he refused to redo my exam and asked me how much would it cost him for me to leave. PARENTS: Please remember your babies might not know if their prescription is wrong. Taking them to a provider that doesn't know how to check eyes correctly could result in major medical issues including migraines and even balance issues.

I used to have great experiences with this clinic -- I went here when I was younger and continued bringing my kids. Unfortunately, this recent experience was very disappointing. The clinic failed to verify my insurance coverage, so I was unexpectedly billed for services I thought would be covered. I rely on the clinic to inform me about insurance so I can plan accordingly -- this mistake really impacted my budgeting. They apologized several times over the phone, but when I went in person to pay the bill, I was treated very coldly -- no thank you, no 'have a good day,' just a receipt handed to me. I even asked if there was anything else I owed, because I wanted to settle everything right then, and that part of the process also felt unclear. This used to be a place I trusted, but this experience left me very disappointed. I hope they improve communication and professionalism going forward so other patients don't go through the same.

$120 for an eye exam and not just a lone eye exam, that is with the purchase of glasses! Go to Walmart for a better deal. Ridiculous!

Great 1st time visit! Fast service & friendly people. Easy to get an appointment for the next day. They are great with kids.

Had a recent eye injury from a tree branch. I was squeezed in for same day visit with Dr. Sheriff and follow up the following day. Very pleased with my experience and treatment. They were not contracted with my insurance carrier but the visit and follow up care was very reasonable and possibly less expensive than what my copay and deductible would have been if contracted. Outstanding care and have found an optometrist for future needs.

I have been seeing Dr. Sheriff since I was a sophomore in college and started having problems seeing the blackboard and that was 27 years ago. I have never used another optometrist nor do I want to. The staff is and always have been super friendly and Dr. Sheriff is (& yes, always has been!) extremely courteous, nice and professional. And let's not forget - he's a great optometrist as well! A big thank you to Wichita Eyecare, and all of the staff there!
