Local review guide here so you can trust on me and not a bot account! I hadn't had an eye test in about two years, and as someone who's quite introverted and shy, I was a little nervous walking in. But seeing Winnie again instantly put me at ease because she did my last eye test. Surprisingly she remembered me ! What truly stood out this time was her kindness. She mentioned I could get a new pair of glasses as my prescription has changed very little, but I've recently been made redundant, and she never once pushed a sale or tried to upsell anything--nothing like the pressure you sometimes feel at places like Specsavers. Instead, she genuinely focused on what I needed and what would help me most right now. I will be back to get my glasses on my next pay. It's rare to meet someone who combines real professionalism with such genuine care. I left feeling understood, respected, and very grateful. Winnie is an exceptional optometrist. Highly, highly recommend Winnie. Will be back next year for my next check up!

I came in to fix my glasses because I wasn't feeling comfortable with the frame and wanted them tightened. Diane was incredibly patient with me and kept adjusting the frame, letting me try them on again and again until they finally felt right. While I was there, I also ended up purchasing a pair of sunglasses. Diane helped me decide which ones suited me best and took the time to explain the different lens options, the scheme available, and the payment plans. I really appreciated how polite, kind, and helpful she was throughout the whole experience. Excellent customer service thank you, Diane!

I went into your store today, 5 February, to choose new glasses. I was very fortunate to be served by Siobhan who was amazing! She was so patient and explained everything to me clearly and carefully. She checked to make sure I fully understood the cost and all the add-ons. My order was a little complicated so she had to go over it a couple of times. I had a bad headache and was full of a cold so struggled to concentrate! This was compounded by the fact that the escalators in the store were making the most dreadful noise which was driving me nuts. I don't know how the staff coped with it all day when I was struggling after only a couple of hours! Perhaps someone could look into it as this does not make for happy customers! I suspect if management had to work in the store for a day under these circumstances things would soon change! Anyway back to Siobhan - she is a great asset to Boots and I hope she is valued. Please thank her for her kindness, care and consideration which I appreciated very much.

Such a great experience at Boots Chesterfield getting my eyes tested and for my first ever pair of glasses. The entire team made me feel welcome, were so friendly and really helped with my decision. Thank you so much. You're a credit to Boots!

I was greeted warmly and treated very well by the lady with a lovely brown bob and glasses from the moment I arrived. My eye test went smoothly and was clearly explained, which made the whole experience comfortable. Afterwards, I reviewed glasses with Yasmin, who was very helpful and patient. Overall, a great experience and excellent service.

After a disappointing appointment at Boots opticians Trafford Cente (part the process had been missed) I went back to rectify the problem. On my next visit a young lady called Amber was amazing, an excellent appointment spent quality time to put everything right. And told me she would be there today to collect the correct glasses. She was & again was very professional & made sure everything was correct. She out my faith back into using Boots Opticians after years of being a loyal customer.

This evening I visited Boots opticians in the Trafford centre, I went to browse some boots frames as I had been recommended by a friend. It was much busier than I had anticipated it would be and only 2 staff members were left to try manage 7/8 customers at once. The 2 girls were lovely and really did their best to make my experience easier. I just felt so bad that they were left alone to manage so many people, such a shame as many were left waiting for quite a long time.

Had my eye test with Zainab yesterday. She was lovely, really friendly and professional! The eye test was very thorough, I had images taken of the back of my eye which were all discussed and shown to me. I had no change so I didn't need any new glasses, but I might still look at some new ones just for a change! Definitely recommend!
