I had such a great experience at Boots Opticians! The staff were so friendly and made me feel comfortable right from the start. The eye test was thorough and the optician, Emma, took time to explain everything in a way that made sense. I was really impressed with the range of glasses available and ended up finding a pair I absolutely love. Overall, the whole process was easy and stress free. Definitely recommend

I was assisted by Amitha/ Helen She was incredibly helpful and nice with choosing a glasses. Most of all she was respectful and this is what every patient needs to. Thank you so much Helen I was nervous a bit because it was my first time choosing a glasses and you really made it easy

After getting my eyes tested by the very professional and personable Priya I then was seen by lovely Melinda who I have seen many times on my visits to Boots Opticians. As usual she was very pleasant and so helpful with me choosing three pairs of glasses. First class experience !

I recently attended an eye test at Boots Opticians and unfortunately my experience was disappointing. The clinical side of the appointment felt rushed, but what concerned me most was the patient interaction. When I asked questions about my eyes and treatment options, the optometrist responded in a very harsh tone and at times appeared unwilling to answer questions that were important to me as a patient. I went to the appointment because I was experiencing symptoms of dry eyes and explained this clearly. However, the doctor didn't seem concerned and suggested it could be something else. I asked if she could specifically check whether my eyes were dry, and the examination later confirmed dryness. Despite this, I did not feel my concerns were taken seriously. An eye appointment should feel reassuring and informative, especially when you may be worried about your eyes. Instead, I left feeling uncomfortable and not properly listened to. I hope Boots can review the communication and bedside manner at this branch, as respectful and clear communication is just as important as the examination itself.

Customer care not great and apparently there is no refund policy. My glasses were no good for purpose and I was told they would exchange only one pair as a good will gesture. left with glasses that are no good and had to choose a different pair that will also be no good, having to go pick up soon and I have to like them or there is nothing they can do! I paid a difference on top of 2 NHS vouchers aswell and what a waste of time and money. Definitely going elsewhere

Helen was so helpful and very kind. She assisted me with every little information I needed and was able to help me book to see Amitha who was also so kind and very good. I had a very good afternoon with these two ladies. Cheers to Helen and Amitha

The optician was very helpful and thorough. He put me at ease and proactively and diligently followed up with my previous optician regarding a point he identified during the check. I would definitely recommend a visit to Boots opticians in Newcastle.

I found the optician priya to be very efficient ,she explained every step of eye test clearly, she was also very friendly, Helen helped me choose a new pair of glasses she was also friendly and very knowledgeable, I would definitely recommend this opticians.
