The clinic is well run, organised and range of frames available is large and varied enough to find just what suits when new glasses are needed. If only a new lens is needed you have it in a few days. Helpful in every way. First in reminding me I was overdue for a test, and then providing excellent service. Especially clearly answering my questions during the appointment that lead to potentially slowing the development an eye problem by choosing a special type of lens, and having them fitted in my older frames in 3 days!'

Such a wonderful experience from start to finish. Karen is a wonderful, friendly optician and so expert in what she does. Olivia spent a lot of time with me choosing the right frames and when I came to collect them Toni, Olivia and Caroline were all so excited for the grand try on. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly, the shop has a nice relaxed and happy feel to it, the optician is really friendly and chatty which puts you at ease immediately, she takes her time to examine your eyes thoroughly, I picked up my glasses today and I can say without hesitation they are the best pair of glasses I have ever had, they have ticked all the boxes of requirements Thank you all ladies and I will see you all the next time I'm due for an eye check. From the minute I walked in to make an appointment on Friday morning to getting a cancellation that afternoon!! ,to walking out 2 hours later, I can only describe my experience with adjectives like fantastic, superb ,and wonderful. I had not had an eye test for many years for various reasons and I should have done as I have a family history of glaucoma, and a bad astigmatism. So I was actually quite anxious and was expecting a telling off!!!! However Karen the optometrist a lovely Irish woman put me immediately at ease. She was professional, knowledgeable, informative, thorough and made me laugh!! The two of the lovely women, on the shop floor Olivia and Toni.were equally as professional and lovely as Karen. What a team!!! Toni explained everything to me about my lenses ,and the two of them gave their advice in choosing frames. Olivia even made me a cup of tea!!! It was the best eye test and experience at an opticians I have ever had. This is the first review I have ever written about anything!!. That just shows you how impressed I was!!!! I would not hesitate for one second in recommending Keyes opticians to anybody who is looking for the best experience an opticians can offer.

Me and my husband have been customers of Keyes since 2020. I first found Keyes when I was looking for help with severe dry eye. My quality of life was really impacted and I couldn't find help anywhere. After my first appointment at Keyes, I came away with a treatment plan which really worked. I am pleased to say that I am now pain free and my symptoms have eased. Although I don't live close by, we go to Keyes for our check ups, glasses and contact lenses orders. This is really down to the team there, they really are so welcoming and genuinely care about their customers. Massive thank you to the team and Karen, who never fails to make our appointments a joy! My tinted glasses have truly changed my life! I was late diagnosed with dyslexia and Irlens and never realised how much it was hindering me until I had a colour assessment.
