I had Lasek surgery end of Nov 2025 with Mr Ghosh and just 6 weeks on and I have 20/20 vision. The whole experience has been easy, smooth and relaxing. I have felt to be in the best possible care with the team at My Eye Clinic, and after having a consultation at a high street clinic I'm so glad I went to this boutique clinic. The level of care, from the initial consultation all the way through to the surgery and the after-care appointments have been flawless. I very much appreciate how approachable and accessible Me Ghosh is also; for instance even when the clinic was closed over the weekend I was able to have a telephone appt on a Saturday morning regarding a query over eye drops as well as an ad-hoc appointment within 24 hours the week following surgery. The clinic itself feels luxurious, contributing to making you feel relaxed during appointments. When it came to booking the surgery post consultation there was no hard sales tactics which I encountered at a different clinic. The cost, quality of care and overall experience has been far better than I expect to have experienced had I gone to a national/high-street clinic. I would recommend this clinic to anybody looking to get laser eye surgery and specifically with Mr Ghosh.

I recently had TransPRK laser eye surgery at My Eye Clinic Gosforth, and I couldn't be happier with the experience or the results. My Eye Clinic came highly recommended to me by a friend and with good reason. From the first consultation with Anita and meeting Mr Ghosh, I had confidence I was in safe hands. After reviewing details from the consultation and carrying out an examination, Mr Ghosh recommended multi focal lens replacements. I had considered lens replacements a few years ago as I needed contacts or glasses but then COVID came along so it was put on the back burner. After Covid I was told by my optician I had the beginnings of cataracts so I started my research again. I'm actually very grateful to Covid for the delay because I then found My Eye Clinic and Mr Ghosh and from my first consultation I knew it was the right choice. I liked that they did one eye at a time and checked every step of the way that things were as they should be. Every member of staff I interacted with were professional and friendly and put me at ease. I just want to start off saying my experience with My eye clinic has been overall brilliant. From start to finish the care they bring is 10/10. I've suffered all my life with my eyes and I didn't think I would ever be able to get this producer done with my prescription. They ensured me beforehand one of my eyes would not be 100% but they are healing great and now I can go about my life without glasses which is the best outcome I could have asked for. Would HIGHLY recommend!! The aftercare is brilliant must I add.

My experience at My Eye Clinic was exceptional from start to finish. From my initial screening with Anita, to meeting Mr. Ghosh, all communication was clear and detailed. The different procedure options were carefully explained, and Mr. Ghosh helped me select the Trans PRK procedure that suited me best. On the day of my procedure, everything was seamless, and the process took approximately 15 minutes. The aftercare has been excellent so far, and my eyesight has improved significantly, continuing to get better each day. I had cataracts removed in both eyes and new lenses installed. All the staff were helpful and friendly from start to finish. I had a great number of concerns and questions. Mr Ghosh (the eye surgeon) took a lot of time and care to address everything I raised. He was very patient, easy to talk to, and inspired total confidence. He ensured that he fully understood what I was aiming for, and he managed my expectations with sensitivity - establishing in advance what realistically could be achieved, given that I had had Lasik eye surgery in the past. Ultimately, I was left in no doubt that Mr Ghosh would achieve the best possible outcome. Which he did. After 30-odd years of wearing contact lenses, I can finally see near and far and I'm feeling quite evangelical about it. I'm so glad I had this done, and MY Eye Clinic were definitely the right choice - they have been excellent. I finally took the plunge and had lens replacement surgery (eyes were too bad for laser). Second eye was done yesterday and the improvement (with both done) has been phenomenal. I am so grateful for the wonders of science, technology and medicine. It was painless, no injections, no nasty smells, I didn't see anything being "done" and I was fully awake during my procedure. The care I received throughout (before, during and after) has been absolutely brilliant. If you're considering it, I'd say - do it! And do it with MY Eye Clinic - you won't be disappointed.
