A rather long overdue review here ! what a fabulous team. We experienced a high level of expertise and professionalism. We visited this team some time ago .Above all, a team who really listen to you and work with you to meet your needs. The range of glasses available were just super... this will always be our opticians ! they set the bar very high. Keep up your super work

In Short: Hands down, the best opticians I've been to in 30 or so years of wearing glasses. The Long: I'd come into Op and Tom from a high street optician, not happy with the level of service or end result. After multiple return visits to the high-street optician - someone recommended OP and Tom and I thought I'd give them a try. I explained the situation to them, along with how I get anxious going to medical/optician appointments - both could not have been more accommodating with my nerves and questions and put me at ease immediately. The shop is lovely and modern, and really has a high end feel, it's obviously tailored to the one on one experience and that's exactly what you get. I had an in depth and non-rushed eye exam carried out by Louise, who answered all my questions, then spent a while with them both as they found the most suitable - and best fitting, frame for my faceshape. I tried on lots of frames, and again, didn't feel rushed or pressured at all - they gave fantastic feedback and I felt very happy with the final choice! Both lovely, friendly and down to earth people. What more could you want? I got my glasses just after a week, went back for one small adjustment and could not be happier. People genuinely compliment me on the glasses I now wear and I can 100% say I'd recommend them to anyone looking for a 10/10 optician in Newcastle. Thanks both!

I am so pleased to have found Tim and Louise at Op&Tom. I cannot thank them enough for the fast and friendly service. I was put at ease as soon as I walked in to the shop, met with a warmth and professional approach right through my eye test and then honest feedback on my choice of glasses and lenses. Glasses ready for collection a few days later so a super fast turnaround beyond my expectations. Thank you Tim and Louise Will be back to choose my next pair soon

This the best opticians ever . Husband and wife team are so committed and passionate about the whole eyeware experience!! They make you feel very relaxed and guide you through the fun of trying on fantastic glasses and I left feeling great about my choice ! Thank you very much .

Going to OP & TOM is always a lovely experience. Tim and Louise are very knowledgeable and helpful. The shop is peaceful, eye appointments are not rushed and I did not feel pressure to buy anything. There was a great selection of interesting frames and I love my new glasses which I picked out with help from Tim.
