Walmart Vision & Glasses

I have never had a doctor take this much time to make sure that my contacts were a perfect fit for my eye shape. Each one of my appointments is at least one hour long, which I appreciate because my eyesight is very important to me. I am a tattoo artist and I need my eyes to work. If you are looking for a doctor that will take his time, listen to you, and and understand your unique eyeballs, this is your guy! I was able to try on three or four different pairs of trial pair contacts during my second appointment (the fitting). Between each pair, he took measurements, did tests, until he felt confident, I was in the best pair of contacts for my eye shape. I felt like I was at a dress shop where I was having the dress customized to my body. Wow wow wow! Great job doc! Walmart and every member of my community is very lucky to have this man.

While doing our normal shopping, the screw came out of my fiance's eyeglasses, and off her face they flew. I thought to go up to the vision center and see if they could be of any assistance. There was no way we were finding that screw! Emma walked right up to us and asked if she could help. I told her the situation and without hesitation, she took my fiance's glasses. Repaired them, tightened everything up, cleaned them, and returned them almost to perfect original condition! Thanks Emma!!

Came here for a cheap pair of glasses after a bad experience at my eye doctor. Tammy understood the assignment perfectly and didn't try to sell me a bunch of things I didn't need. Glasses came in super fast in 3 business days and work great. Very satisfied with how fast and easy they were to work with.

Dr.Tipton is by far the best optometrist I have been too. I have been going to him for several years now. He takes his time with each patient, I have never felt rushed. I have several health issues with my eyes and he is very thorough. He has noticed things other doctors have not. And his staff is amazing as well!

I had been putting off going in and getting an eye exam. Glad I went here for it. The entire staff here was great. Super quick, friendly, and helpful. The Optometrist was very clear and helpful. I described my problems I was having and he was very clear about what the glasses could help and helped me clearly understand what I needed to do if certain issues with my headaches kept coming back. I'd highly recommend going here to anybody. Great place and great employees.

If I could give this 6 or 7 stars, I would. My eye was in awful pain from a flare-up of a past eye injury. We desperately tried to call around to ophthalmologists and it was too late in the day for anyone to squeeze me in. We weren't sure if an optometrist could help but we were desperate. It was about 30 minutes to closing when we called and they told us I could come in and the optometrist- Tipton stayed late for me. The gal at reception didn't require me to fill out any forms since my eye was in pain and asked me all the questions to fill it out for me. She was incredibly patient and kind. Extremely knowledgeable it was able to see that I had an abrasion on my eye. The last few times I went to ophthalmologists, they told me I had dry eyes and sent me on my way. Even though it was after hours, Tipton personally called an ophthalmologist friend of his who said he would also squeeze me in long after business hours. He was able to take photos of the abrasion on my eye and said that If I had waited until the next day, it might have healed to where they wouldn't know which area to treat for the future. ( which is why other opthamologists dismissed me so many times, because I kept having to wait for an appointment and it would heal so they thought nothing was wrong and then my I would tear again in my sleep) Tipton knew exactly what was wrong and knew exactly what to have me do to relieve the pain and advised me on what products to buy. I can't even tell you what a relief it was to be heard and to finally have my chronic eye pain addressed.

Bought fashion frames online (super cute!!) from different retailer. But wanted to have my prescription put into them. Walmart Vision traced the lenses and got my glasses all put back together in less than a week, for 3 pairs. However, the prescription lenses don't fit properly into the frames, two pair have little pieces of plastic wedged inbetween lens and frame to hold in place and in the third pair the lens is slightly loose in the frame. So much for tracing to ensure they would fit. But my glasses do the job and you'd have to look really close to see the plastic while I'm wearing them.

Glasses come in late and in crappy condition. My left lense got colorful scratches (not actually scratches but are from messed up quality, and makes it very difficult to see) I replaced the left lense every month for 8 months and still got the same quality. Don't go cheap, just get your glasses from an actually eye place.
