Alan has shown amazing professionalism mixed with thoughtful consideration of my unusual eye problems. He took as much time as needed to get my glasses and contact prescriptions to the highest level of vision possible. He is willing to forgo profit at times in the interest of what he feels is fair business practice. He is the ultimate in customer service and we don't see that care much anymore. He explained so completely every step of the process in a way that I felt confident in making decisions. He is the BEST at bedside manners! I will always recommend Claire Optical knowing that you will be in the best hands with decades of experience and the biggest heartfelt care around!

The best place ever! Alan and his staff are amazing! They are friendly, professional, and very helpful. I have been getting my glasses there for 30 years! I genuinely cannot recommend Clair Optical enough. I was referred to Alan by The Eye Institute of Utah when I was diagnosed with Keratoconus back in 2019 and after I'd gotten the cross-linking procedure done. Alan is one of the most kind and caring people I've met and I couldn't be more thankful for the time and thought he's put into making sure that I'm in the best possible place with my eyesight. I've got a pretty complicated situation with my eyes and he's always completely dedicated to making sure I'm taken care of and that my vision is as good as it can be. On top of being very skilled in his work, he's incredibly honest and transparent in how he works with his customers. I've felt so cared for over the last few years and I'm really looking forward to continuing to go here.

At Clair Optical, Alan and his staff have been providing myself and my family great care for a number of years. Both Alan and Darlene feel like family and know us and our vision issues well. I recently went to a new eye doc for contact lens and it was a fiasco with several visits required for wrong measurements. So I did what I should have done in the first place, I saw Alan and he worked his magic to get the problem fixed. My teenage daughter wanted contacts and Alan spent extra time and care educating her about the use and care required, but also had her practice in the office until she felt comfortable with the process. Alan also helped my daughter with colored contacts for Halloween that made my daughter over the moon about her costume. That kind of customer service in this day and age is unheard of, but we get that kind of service EVERY time we go in. Thanks to Alan and his staff for the great care over the years! You are a one of a kind business.

I'm absolutely blessed to be taken care of by Alan and Clair Optical. I have post-LASIK ectasia and Keratoconus and I'd trust nobody else now to care for my eyes and help me find the right fit of contact lenses.
