Clayson Williams Eye Center

It took me over a month to get appt. At the time I gave them all my insurance info but at my appt today at McKay I forgot my insurance card. The receptionist told me I had to pay $50 today to see the dr because i didnt have my card. I have medicare and Medicaid 0 copay. I gave them all my insurance info on the phone so they could verify. So needless to say they lost a new patient and possibly several others because I would not recommend them to anyone. I even told her I could have it faxed to her. She said no I would have to pay $50. There's other Dr's who would treat new patients with respect and who would do there jobs right when I first gave th e m my insurance information for prior approval.

Been seeing Dr. Williams for over 2 years now and love everything about this practice. Dr. Williams gives great personalized care, his staff are very friendly and I've never had a billing issue. It's one of those practices that still provides quality medical care without the big practice hassles. I highly recommend for a good eye care provider.

I am type 1 diabetic with diabetic retinopathy and have been treated by Dr Williams on several occasions. When I first was diagnosed with having retinopathy I wasn't really sure what to expect but the staff and Dr Williams was very helpful in explaining everything to me and answering all of my questions. When it came to getting eye injections of course there was a bit of anxiety there and still is, but the friendly staff has always made it a ton easier by making me comfortable before the procedure. I highly recommend this office for the best care! It has been super evident that as a patient I am cared for by everyone there! To be honest, Dr. Williams and his staff has truly made me feel like a friend verses a patient!

I had cataract surgery in both eyes. Dr. Williams was very professional, kind and attentive in all aspects of my care. I experienced no complications and am very pleased with the outcome. I recommend him and his office with full confidence to anyone seeking professional eye care.

I want to recommend Dr. Brice WIlliams to anyone who has been a little afraid of getting eye surgery done! Dr. Williams is so professional and kind and confident, we could not have asked for a better surgeon to do our sons surgery. He took the time to explain every detail, and went over every question and concern we and our son had about surgery. Our son had the muscles in his eyes weaken while in college and his eyes began to cross, significantly. He went to an eye Doctor in the town, where he was going to college, and the eye Dr. scared him with stories of terrible outcomes. He was given some glasses with a special patch that allowed him to see one image, and he walked away telling himself this was just what he would have to live with the rest of his life, because he sure wasn't going to have that surgery done. Eventually, though, he couldn't live with it. A friend of ours recommended Dr. Williams for having fixed a similar problem for himself. Dr. Williams did a phenomenal job! Our son has his perfect vision back. He put the glasses on a shelf as a reminder to keep looking for a better answer when the first seems impossible. Thank you to Dr. Williams and his wonderful staff, and the excellent staff at McKay Dee Surgical Center.

If you have concerns, don't bother. If you just need a prescription, it works. I don't know if I'll be back. I've had a good experience in the past with Dr. William's staff. I've been going here all my life. I saw Dr. Linton today for an eye exam, which was okay. I don't feel like my questions were really answered. I felt like the nurse was annoyed with taking so much time with me because we had to do iodine drops twice. She was trying to hurry me along when my eyes wouldn't stay open from tearng up. She didn't explain what she was doing and I felt like I was a bother to the staff more than a patient.

I have always been impressed with the care I have received from Dr. Brice Williams and Staff. After going through some rather serious eye problems, Dr. Williams has helped tremendously. Wish I had been a patient before the problems as I'm sure they could have been avoided with the excellent care at Clayson/Williams.

Dr. Williams was amazing! He has such a calm and reassuring manner about him while he explains, in simple terms, what is going on. His knowledge about the eye was quite incredible as I learned after barraging him with follow-up questions. He was not hurried and seemed to have all the time necessary to help me and my family. We will gladly be making the trip from Salt Lake County, up to Ogden to see him in the future!
