Specialized Optical - Greg M. Wenom, OD

Was a new patient. Never even had my eyes tested before. Knew my vision wasn't as good as it used to be. The staff was kind and welcoming. The Doctor was very thorough and patient with me. Had a great experience! Highly recommended

We switched to this Doctor after being with another optical provider for over 8 years as he moved away & this Dr. was much closer to us & had good reviews. Our previous provider would always be available & always had availability during the week to see us if we needed for emergencies right away. And if the eye doctor wasn't available the receptionist called the eye doctor at home and he made time to get us in as soon as he was able to...that wasn't even offered to us even after I told them it was an emergency today. The hours at this practice are horrible and especially at actually having the actual eye doctor in the office to be able to be seen if you have a emergency or need to see them at 9 am....you're going to be out of luck. This is the third time that we've needed to see this eye Dr. & we've been unable to achieve this. They also have times when they close their office completely for numerous days and do not have a back up provider available. The last time we had to pay over $1,900 to go to an emergency room to get taken care of because we could not get this eye doctor. We are very disappointed. We will now look for a new provider that cares about their patients. That has a Dr that actually works regular hours & is open regular hours. Not this place who has a Dr who comes in at 11 am or not in at all & someone who doesn't close their office for numerous days with no care for their patients provided at all.

I recently visited Dr. Wenom's office for an eye exam and couldn't be more impressed! Dr. Wenom is highly knowledgeable, incredibly patient, and thorough in explaining every aspect of the exam and the results. It's clear he genuinely cares about his patients' eye health. It was a great experience, and everyone was equally impressive--kind, welcoming, and helpful. From scheduling the appointment to selecting new frames, they went above and beyond to ensure I had a great experience. I highly recommend Dr. Wenom and his team for professional, compassionate eye care!

This was our first experience with an eye care professional since moving to Utah. It could not have been an easier, more pleasant experience! My daughter received an eye test, and ordered glasses all in the same convenient location. Their staff is extremely helpful and courteous, and took care of all the insurance billing for us! We were so pleased, we booked 3 more appointments the same day with Dr. Wenom. Try Specialized Optical...you won't be disappointed!

I like taking my family to specialized optical. Dr. Wenom and Margaret have helped us from my 4 year old on up. We are very pleased with their service and care.

Specialized Optical is simply the best very professional staff can't say enough good things about Margaret, Dr. Wenom, Ross and Dr. Woodfield. Very efficient office and a great selection of glasses.

Absolutely love the staff at Specialized they know there stuff and really show they care. Been going to Specialized for a few years and at one point I did go to another place and was very disappointed, paid to much money for poor care. I would recommend Specialized Optical to anyone!

We love Dr. Wenom. Treats our family very well. And Margaret at the front desk is always super nice!
