America's Best Contacts & Eyeglasses

I was about to give America's Best a 1-star review because of my experience last time: I had an appointment, waited for 40 minutes, and then was told I needed to pay for another full exam because the person who scheduled my visit was new and didn't understand the policy. I left frustrated and confused, because all I wanted was to update the brand on my contact lens prescription. Fast forward to today, and my experience was completely different. Every single staff member was new, professional, and incredibly kind. The doctor explained everything clearly, asked me directly which brands I preferred (I've never been asked that before), and even added four different options to my prescription so I can choose what works best for my dry eyes. He also told me that if I ever want to try another brand, they will update the prescription again for me. They also informed me that I am still covered under my plan for one more month, and I could even get another exam on the spot if I needed it, something I was never told before. This time, everything was fast, respectful, transparent, and genuinely helpful. I left impressed. Because of the new staff and how well they treated me today, I decided to change my rating to 5 stars. Thank you for finally making this experience a good one. I hope the clinic keeps this level of care.

The staff was so kind and helpful. Quick process. America's best more like McKinzy's Best. McKinzy crushed at her job. If everyone worked like McKinzy the world be a smoother place. If she was a rapper other rappers would ask her to collab on their track to make a hit. Thank

I went needing some frames for some lenses of the frame that got ran over but lenses were saved Kyler was a friendly face to walk into America's Best put my lenses in a new frame and put it in my deal where I got new lenses for my frame once they came in with my 2nd choice of prescription Ray Bans which I love , Kyler was patient helpful and knowledgeable didn't push extra costs or nothing on me but helped me understand what would be beneficial for me in my purchase I was very appreciative and made my experience great , thanks Kyler!!!

I purchased two pairs of glasses(normal frames and lenses) and got the deal that's advertised. After all of the add-ons that really aren't anything special, we ended up paying almost $380. I wasn't expecting both pairs to break within a year and a half of purchase and normal wear. Of course, when I went back to try and get them repaired or replaced, they told me they don't repair damage to the stems and they couldn't help me. We did pay for insurance on one pair of the glasses, which were not the ones I was trying to get repaired, but I doubt that would have helped me anyway. I'm not one to complain about anything, but this has been really frustrating. Don't come here. Save your money and get some better quality glasses somewhere else. I've gotten better quality glasses from Walmart and online.

I arrived for an appointment when their power was out. I totally understand this happens and another clinic was prompt to call and get me on the books for a later date. I'm leaving a 1-star review because as soon as a I walked in, the girl at the front desk was very dismissive of the inconvenience and unprofessional. I has taken work off for this appointment and asked what their ETA was for the power to be restored. She stated they dont have an ETA and was very insensitive and insisted that I get rescheduled. I waited about 20 minutes for my ride at the location and the power came on for the last 10 of those minutes. No one approached me to help assist me and the same girl who was dismissive was talking poorly about another patient in front of other patients and the rest of the team working there.

I don't like how they say 2 pairs and eye exam for 89 or whatever and then they get you for way more due to add ons etc. I went on their website and the exact same options were half of what they charged me. I feel they are dishonest in their pricing. That being said, the doctor seemed to be knowledgeable and was very helpful. It's just the pressure to upgrade your glasses by the sales team that I found very uncomfortable. Probably commission based pay for them.

I get blinding migraines from this pair of glasses which were not made to correct specifications. When I returned, their solution was to stretch and bend the arms and knock the glasses off kilter completely. Now I look great with crooked glasses and depth perception issues! Don't go here. Rude staff. Terrible. Terrible glasses. Maybe other locations are better staff wise, I don't remember them being so short and rude in American Fork, but Walmart is maybe a better option.

The 2 stars are for the Doctor I met (do not remember his name unfortunately) who was great. Everything else about this place was horrible. It took them 2 weeks to get my order ready and didn't notify me of the delays. They didn't notify me once the order was received either and I found out when I called them myself. Be prepared to wait for atleast an hour after your scheduled appointment time to get your eye exam completed or even to pick up your order. Will most certainly not return.
