Eye Care for Animals - Salt Lake City

I was referred by Monarch Animal Hospital because our 11 year old female shitzu had an ulcer in her right eye. Dr Nathaniel took such good care of our fur baby. The entire staff is absolutely wonderful. I can honestly say they care about the animals they see. It's not about the money . They have went above and beyond to help make it as affordable as possible. And our little girl is now on track to healing and not needing to remove her eye. She is a candidate for the surgery but with her age I don't want to risk it. She is starting to be her spunky little self. And I know she is feeling better each day. Thank you Eye Care for Animals you are all very special people!!

Thanks to Dr. Disney and Dr. Violette our sweet girl is happy and healthy again! What was a very stressful experience dealing with a quick forming ulcer was greatly reduced due to their amazing team, expertise, and response time! They walked us through each step very thoroughly and you can truly tell they love their puppy patients! Surgery went well and thanks to Eye Care for Animals her graft looks great and she is pain free! 1000% recommend!

We had such a wonderful experience with Dr. Violette and the amazing staff at ECFA. Our cat was diagnosed with primary glaucoma at the end of 2024 and we were stressed, overwhelmed, and anxious about what that meant for him moving forward. They tactfully took us through the reality of our future, our options, and their process to identify the best care possible for our cat. While we did end up needing to have both of his eyes removed as he stopped responding to treatment we are so grateful it was this wonderful team that made sure he was happy and healthy the entire time. They provided us with all the necessary care information and resources we would need post operation, and responded to my rather constant calls and texts (paranoid cat mom) alerting them of changes or potential warning signs. They made what seemed like such a major surgery move seamlessly for our cat and us. The consideration and care each employee has for these animals is absolutely unparalleled. We would recommend them to anyone we know that is dealing with concerns regarding their pets ocular health. Thank you all so much for giving him back the quality of life he deserves! He is back to being the happiest version of himself and for that we will always be being grateful! While our little guy is still healing and navigating life with one less sense, he takes each day in stride, and every step with more confidence!

Dr Disney and her team have been so incredibly caring and diligent looking after my baby Fraggle. He had cataract surgery last year, and had a frustrating recovery. Dr Disney was there for us every step of the way, making sure to do all she could to preserve his sight. Thanks to her and her team, he still has most of his vision. It's obvious how much they love Fraggle every time they see him. I trust them completely.

The Entire Team was amazing from scheduling Athena's first appointment to reminders about the appointment. The checkin was super fast and easy, the facility was very clean. Everyone was so nice and they talked to me about their best options with the highest success rates. They were amazing with my four legged daughter and I would give them 1,000,000 stars if that was an option. HIGHLY RECOMEND!

I took my dog here for an eye issue because my regular vet recommended them, and I can see why! The staff was friendly, and James and Dr. Violette shared each step of what they were doing and why. They were thorough but gentle with my little 6lb senior pup. They clearly explained the suggested treatment plan and patiently answered all my questions. I highly recommend them.
