Utah Eye Centers - Salt Lake City

Everyone was super friendly. They were happy to answer questions and explain procedures and processes and options. The office is nice and clean. It's a busy location but it felt like everything was under control. Overall excellent experience.

I had cataract surgery done on both eyes. The procedure was done quickly and efficiently. Everyone working there was friendly and explained what I should expect before, during and after the procedure. Dr. Anderson did and excellent job. He and the staff are very friendly. I would recommend Utah Eye Centers to anyone that requires eye surgery.

I love this place. The front desk gals were helpful and friendly, as was the nurse. Dr. Gupta is simply amazing. Terrific bedside manner, professional and super knowledgeable. She is worth the long drive for me!

I was a new patient and I saw Dr. Anderson. He was very professional and very kind and he explained everything so meticulously. I was referred to him through my mother and I am so glad I went there. I will never go anywhere else from now on.

This is the worst customer service I have ever received from anyone. Clair Optical was such a nice place to work with. However, I have now found out that it has been bought out by Utah Eye Center and they are not willing to work with their customers at all. On top of that, they still advertise that they are Clair Optical outside of their facility. They talked me into switching from tri-focals to progressive lenses and I kept coming back in telling them that they are not working for me, but they would say that I just needed to get use to them. Now that it is been past their 90 days return policy they won't do anything for me. What a way to do business. They just kept putting me off until the warranty period is over and I have no recourse, instead of getting me the right lens in the first place. Over $500 later and I'm now stuck with a pair of glasses that I have never been able to use. To top it off, the Salt Lake manager tried to tell me that it's not their lenses, but that I probably have cataract issues with my eyes because I'm 63 years old and it wouldn't matter what lenses they made for me they wouldn't work. However, I am now wearing my old tri-folcals and they work perfectly fine. I told her that I have been a customer for well over 10 years and she had the audacity to say that was with Clair Optical and not with them. I would not recommend anyone to go to them for glasses. All they want is your money and they don't care about taking care of thier customers and making thing right, but they are really good and placing the blame somewhere else. STAY AWAY FROM THEM!!!!!

The basic check up was fine but they charged me incorrectly and I had to call several times over a period of months to resolve the issue. I fear they might be charging other patients incorrectly.

I was referred to Dr Gupta for glaucoma. After testing she advised me to watch it but surgery was unnecessary. Her expertise and care was exceptional. I was relieved and appreciative. I highly recommend her.

Dr Gupta was wonderful. She's smart, compassionate and understanding. She is very sweet and listens intently. She answered all of my questions and never made me feel rushed in any way.
