THEY REFUSED TREATMENT OF MY BROKEN ARM. Went into Urgent Care due to falling down a flight of stairs and breaking my arm. I needed x-rays and a cast. After talking to a Claudia and a PA assistance I was turned away due to inability to pay my $30 co-pay. A year ago they sent me to collections so they stated that is why they REFUSED TREATMENT DUE TO $30, then the PA backtracks and says he can't refuse service but he can refuse it at the urgent care not ER and that I would need to go to the Emergency room or some OTHER hospital to get treatment since I couldn't pay the $30 copay upfront.
THEY JUST WANT EXTRA MONEY.
After going down the street to the U of U urgent care they said they could EASILY just bill me for the $30 co-pay and still have me see a doctor for treatment instead of refusing medical assistance to someone with a BROKEN ARM.
DO NOT GO TO GRANGER MEDICAL.
I came to the clinic with my mother and my 20-year-old sister, I was a patient today and had been his patient for years now, also my mom and we respectfully asked if my sister could be added to the schedule with Dr. Cooper Martinez because her symptoms were becoming increasingly difficult to manage and our family did not know what else to do. Dr. Martinez has been the main reason we chose to come to this clinic, and we confidently refer all of our friends and acquaintances to him; however, his assistant Johana and other staff members seem not to understand the level of empathy and care that Dr. Martinez shows toward his patients, and instead of supporting that, they appear to correct or limit it. Prior to our appointment, Johana repeatedly insisted that the doctor would not be able to see my sister, and while Dr. Martinez was already conducting our visit, and which we believe to be the supervisor interrupted to say, "there are more patients waiting, we can't do this anymore," which I found to be highly disrespectful and inappropriate, especially in front of us as patients, Dr. Martinez saw 3 patients in a row and that is why he took his time, his stuff should be more respectful towards him
I have been a patient at this clinic since Dr. Cuper Martinez joined the practice. My entire family and I transferred here because of him. His compassion, patience, and dedication to his patients are outstanding. I have referred many friends and family, and the only reason I stay with this clinic is because of Dr. Martinez. If he ever leaves, we would follow him without hesitation.
Unfortunately, today's experience with the staff was very disappointing. The assistant, Johana, was rude and unprofessional when I asked if Dr. Martinez could give guidance on what specialist my daughter--who has serious health issues--should see. She accused this request of being "fraud," which was shocking and inappropriate.
She then threatened to involve management if the doctor spent more time with us. Later, someone claiming to be the manager came in, rushed the doctor, and stated this should never happen again, despite the fact that I paid out of pocket for my daughter's visit. This situation was embarrassing, disrespectful, and lacked compassion. I hope leadership addresses this, as patients deserve respectful and empathetic care.
I will preface with this -- Joy's urgency and care with my issue was extremely reassuring and it meant the world to me! She moved mountains to make sure that I was cared for in that regard. But the family medicine receptionist was volatile and very rude. If somebody is calling to schedule an appointment for an urgent issue, it is not a good idea to becomes snappy and bratty. I was incredibly kind on the phone, best practice is to return the favor especially when that is your job.
Be kind.
I've been taking my daughter for 8 years and son for about 2 years to see Dr Griffin. The clinic has always been great. They have a large waiting room. The medical assistants are always sweet! We love visiting Dr Griffin, she's so easy to talk to.
I've been coming here every month for a med refill and I have an amazing doctor! Very big waiting room, & very clean. MA is very nice! However, every time I come in and I'm waiting there's always one girl who is short with light hair at the front desk who is always swearing!! Dropping the F bomb like crazy. I've even witness when sitting close by a patient walking away from her desk, you can hear her call them stupid quietly. Such Disgusting behavior! What company allows their employees to swear and treat people with such disrespect sit at the front. Swearing with other people around and there's even a pediatrics there so there's kids around. Is that who you allow to represent your company? If it wasn't for me having a doctor who cares I would go somewhere else. Because it seems this company truly doesn't care who represents their company or how their employees treat people poorly who are coming in for care. Seems this employee doesn't get properly punished for it being an on going issue. I'm truly disgusted
Incomplete procedure, repeated infections, months of pain, poor communication, and ultimately required corrective surgery by another podiatrist.
I was treated for ingrown toenails by Dr. Kelly Hamblin, DPM, at Granger Medical in November 2025. The procedure was incomplete on every toe, leaving portions of the ingrown nails behind. This led to ongoing inflammation, infection, and severe pain.
Over the next two months, I required four urgent care visits, one ER visit, two medical appointments, and three rounds of antibiotics. Communication from the office was poor, and I did not receive timely callbacks or clear post-operative instructions.
In January 2026, a podiatrist in a different medical network confirmed that ingrown nails were still embedded in the sides and bases of my toes. We determined that complete nail plate removal on all three toes was necessary, which confirmed jagged nail remnants growing into the tissue.
I filed a formal complaint with Granger Medical in December 2025. An office manager apologized and said Dr. Hamblin would follow up. He never did.
Based on the outcome of care and the lack of follow-up, I cannot recommend Dr. Hamblin or Granger Medical.
I got my flu and Covid shot in the drive through this fall. The nurses and doctors were very helpful and there were absolutely no problems.
