Dr. Young is absolutely delightful. He's thoughtful about cost, honest, has a great sense of humor and you can tell he genuinely cares. Every year he runs me through the emergency procedure of what to do if my vison suddenly changes drill. Pretty sure he has more anxiety about my eyes than I do. I have a high prescription and most optometrists don't even carry trial lenses that high. This office has a whole room dedicated to specialized contact lenses. If you have special eyes, this is a lovely place to care for them.

Dr. Pingree's staff are professional, friendly and totally equipped to provide eye care before meeting with Dr. Pingree. Dr. Pingree creates a safe place to listen to his advice, make informed decisions and know I am in great hands. His operating on my cataract felt very safe and informed from before to after surgery. I feel very grateful and appreciative that he is my eye doctor.

my mom is a long time customer with this office. But she had horrible experience this week - prescriptions are usually wrong and you have to get back to fix it with having glasses overly expensive, she paid $500 this one and lastmine $800(she thought that is notmal lol) When requested extenssion warranty to honour what she paid for the glasses she coundn't even wear, Mike compared it to a charity. So humiliating and not professional.

Dr. Pingree takes good care of my eyes, answers any questions I have and I know I can trust him. Everyone that works in his office is knowledgeable and do their jobs with a smile.

I have trusted Dr. Pingree with my vision and eye problems for many years, and that will not change! He and his staff are professional and courteous, and because he has worked with me and my vision problems over time, I can rest assured that I can fully trust his wisdom and advice on all things related to my vision!

So Pingree gave us a price for torric lenses. IHC double billed us and tried to intimidate us into signed a amended payment plan. Eventually they removed the double billed amount but the price is still almost $400 higher than Pingree's pricinh. IHC treats those agreements like used toilet paper. Beware!! Those toric lenses have plenty disadvantages and no real advantage.

Grateful for the care and attention! I had been struggling for a while with my glasses prescription and had already seen two ophthalmologists without finding a good solution. Then I found Pingree Eyes... and honestly, I couldn't be more thankful. Dr. Young was not only professional but genuinely attentive. He gave me three different contact lens options to try, and after a careful test period and a follow-up visit, we found the perfect fit. Now I use both glasses and disposable contacts that feel super comfortable and easy to wear... something I didn't think was possible before. And I can't forget to mention the receptionist .. she's incredibly kind, welcoming, and always ready to help. This was my first experience at Pingree Eye Center. Very welcoming the moment you walk in. All procedures were explain and the young man who did a bunch of test was very impressive with shown knowledge and making it all go smoothly. Then Doctor was was impressive and thorough. The thing that was most impressive to me was what happened at the end. Every time I saw an eye doctor I left confused because every time I thought everything was fuzzy looking just a little less with each --- which is better 1 or 2. None was totally clear and new glasses not impressive to see through. When I asked how much difference between my glasses now and the new ones. Response was a bit of a difference but you'll see 20/20 again as he flips some of the lenses on the machine and said this is your prescription now as he had me look through them. My response was WOW. Clear as clear could be. I left knowing I'd see clearer than ever before. THANK YOU
