The opticians are great (especially Nancy and Sterling)! They will go out of their way to check all the options possible so that you can get the best price possible. They provide great patient care and service. My family and I have been seeing Dr. Dewey for a long time. He's always been very patient and thorough in the care he provided. Unfortunately, since Dr. Dewey has retired, we had to see the new doctor and he is quite rude. His bedside manner felt unwelcoming and he had quite a rude tone with us. I don't think we will be coming back here in the future. Don't come here if you have elder family members who don't speak english as their first language because the doctor clearly doesn't know how to treat patients who don't speak english very well. I understand that it can be quite frustrating sometimes when there is a language barrier (both for the patient and the doctor) but it was not okay.

Sidney was amazing to work with helpful and just an overall enjoyable person to be around. Dr. Mckell on the other hand was not as friendly or welcoming. After declining to have my eyes dilated he repeatedly brought it up as if to gas light or guilt trip me. I could not get out of that exam fast enough. I will not be returning of he's the dr im required to see. Everyone else in the store was amazing, friendly and helpful.

Don't come here since they only care about taking your money and not customer service. My mom went to do her exam and they didn't want to see her and ended up changing her appointment to another time and when it was her appointment the were rude. Also the glasses and what they offer is not cheap. Go to Costco you would save money and time.

I have loved going to Shopko Optical for many years and continue to do so after they moved to their new West Valley City location. Doctor Dewey is so personable and thorough. He makes sure we have the best eye care possible. The office staff is also super nice and friendly. I tried going somewhere cheaper for my last glasses and ended up back here because they have a great selection and make sure my prescription and fit are right. I would recommend Dr Dewey 100%!
