I used to come here for the last 3 years and really enjoyed having Laura Fidler as an optometrist. Now, just as a heads up, their waiting time for a normal annual exam or just a prescription renewal is 8+ months. Something to consider, when shopping for an optometrist. Since my contacts prescription has already expired and my stock is going to run out in about 2 months, I'm forced to look for optometrist services elsewhere. Can't believe we, in US, have no optometrists and dentists in the area to service the health needs of a local population. That's enough to force you to move to a different state...

Although a patient for some time, I called for an appointment due to blurry vision and was told the next available appointment was JULY 2026 ! It is now September 16, 2026 Absolutely ridiculous and unprofessional- terrible disregard for patient care

Dr. Cotter & staff are great! I had some challenges with my new glasses and they were willing to work with me and get my situation straightened out. Everyone in the office is friendly and makes you feel welcomed.
Dr. Cotter is super friendly and down to earth. He was upfront about the changes my eyes are going through as I age and did not try and up sell me on this coating or that material. I have been searching for an eye doctor that I like for a long time now and I can finally say I have found them.

Had a serious eye emergency. Dr.Fidler took me right in and got right to work on my eye. Being how I've never been to an eye doctor before in my life. Brattleboro Family Eye Care is amazing! The staff is so friendly and genuine. I have had amazing service here. Everyone is super knowledgeable, professional in their presentation and caring in their approach. The glades featured in my review pic are by "Dragon." I was so stoked to find eyewear made from recycled material. I've been wearing glasses since grade school and these are by far the most comfortable glasses I've ever had. Thank you Brattleboro Family Eye Care for your awesome service! I'll be a patient there for as long as I live in this area!

I would normally never do this, but I just had a really bad experience here. I called because I've been having chronic headaches and I think I need a new glasses prescription. The woman I spoke with told me the next appointment was at the end of November. When I asked if I could get in earlier, due to the nature of my condition, she said I can't fit you in because you have a headache. Her response was so cold, it was rather shocking. Her level of empathy was zero. I hope that in the future Brattleboro Family Eye Care has more sympathy to a potential patient. Thank you.

Fantastic. I had an urgent issue. They answered the phone. Got me in within hours despite me being a new patient. Dr. Fidler was super nice, and I felt she was caring and thorough. I even had an issue filling my prescription. I called to have it changed to another location, and someone answered the phone, and my prescription was sent to another pharmacy within a couple hours. I even got a phone call from Dr. Fidler confirming the change. I felt like I was the only patient they had that day. Nice work. -Jeff
