Very professional and explains the details in a way that is understandable. Dr Chay found that another doctor placed the wrong implant in my eye 20 years ago which has caused high pressure in my eye. He's scheduled to replace the incorrect lens with the proper fitting lens. He may have saved my eye sight. I'm thankful .

I think very highly of Dr. Chay; he is very professional, knowledgeable and pleasant. I had cataract surgery on both eyes in 2024. I wish I could say I'm thrilled with the outcome but I'm not. I still have blurry vision for reading, as I did prior to surgery but now both eyes are different strengths so I need prescription glasses where prior to surgery I did fine with over-the-counter reading glasses. I opted for the 'upscale' lenses and regret the choice, feel I would have been better off with the standard ones as so many friends say they had no problem with them.

I was late, but so was the doctor. But I was prepared for a long wait, so no problem. The assistant took most of the readings, but then Dr. Chay came in, reviewed the data, explained what he saw, and checked for specific problems. He found none. I was happy to have seen him, despite the time, and pleased that he seemed conversant with what was going on with my eyes (mild aging; I am 73). I will see him again in 6 months to follow up on any condition issues (I am undergoing chemotherapy and it seemed like a good idea; I suggested it, not he, but he supported my decision). So I feel very good about my experience with Dr. Chay and I will definitely be back.
