Eye Level Learning Center of Alexandria

EyeLevel has been the most effective tutoring program for my son. The curriculum is more rigorous than any private tutor we've used in the past, and his math skills have improved exponentially. EyeLevel has challenged him, and given him confidence in his math skills. Also, we love the homework booklets - it keeps him disciplined and focused on completing his work each week.

We enrolled our daughters in Eyelevel for almost 3 years. The first 2 years were under the old management which was rather chaotic at sometime because of the constant changing of tutors. The last year we were there, Fanny, the new director and owner took over and it seemed getting better. We were lucky to have Ms. Jenny, she was a very good teacher and my daughters connected with her really well. We also like that they offer critical thinking in their math program, so it is not only about drilling the basic math. Due to schedule conflict, we could no longer come to the center, however, we will definitely consider to enroll again in the future if needed.

I love Eye Level! The curriculum is great-- it is crafted toward each child. Unlike regular schools where the teachers teach to get the lesson plan in, and the kids learn for the test, Eye Level works to help ingrain facts! Awesome center, highly recommend!

Excellent center with a strong curriculum that allows instructors to easily differentiate from multiple styles of learning. Instructors are great and are able to keep children engaged to learn. Great overall experience for your kids! Highly recommend this center!

The owner Fanny and her team of instructors are awesome! They are kind and patient with their students. My 9 year old has been a student for the past 4 years and he is a high achieving student amongst his peers. We're so happy with the superior instruction and service here!

Excellent learning center. In addition to the outstanding English curriculum, the teacher is great, she was able to connect with my son and made him very comfortable and excited to join the program. Would highly recommend.

I visited this location couple months back and met the director Ashleigh. Surprisingly they seemed to have no teacher. When I expressed my concern on lack of teacher she mentioned they did not have luck with consistent teacher but in the process of hiring few - she however introduced me to another gentleman as the future director as Ashleigh was also leaving the job (say what?). I asked her what happens if they did not find teach. She indicated the center may be closed. I did not want to enroll my child to a center which could close soon. I decided to wait until summer as I was not in rush. I recently left a voice mail for an appointment but decided to walk in after waiting 2 days for the response. I walked in and no one was in the reception for greeting. After waiting 5 mins I peeked into the classroom and was a bit socked seeing all new faces. I asked for the director gentleman but was told he left the job as well and currently there was no director. I did not know how to react so asked for summer program. One of the ladies handed me same papers I got last time and went back inside for teaching. It was awkward if not rude. As a parent I would be seriously concerned about a learning center where teacher turnover is so high. Teacher will never bond with student to care for student's long term improvement plan. I also did not like the fact they do not have a dedicated director for parents and most importantly to be at reception area for security. This center is next to a busy road so I would be seriously concerned about my child's safety. I decided to enroll my kid at Sylvan's even though Eye Level was closer - real bummer.
