Dr. Chen is remarkable. I was referred based on her unsurpassed skills as a retina specialist. Her virtues far exceed technical expertise. She is an excellent communicator, unflappable, supremely confident yet humble, patient, decisive, reassuring, and committed to ensuring the care she provides is the absolute best. Unfortunately, the facility was short-staffed yesterday morning. The result was a 50 minute wait in the main waiting room. Then once we were accepted, the pace was fine. Dr. Chen is excellent.

Dr. Chen is remarkably skilled and caring physician. With retina injuries, time is of the essence. Dr. Chen went to extraordinary lengths to schedule my examination and then to perform urgent laser surgery.

Dr. Chen is very nice and takes time to explain things. The staff are also great. Highly recommend the retina group and Dr Chen.

Dr. Chen was very thorough in gathering the information about my condition, explaining the tests the team performed, and explaining the findings. She was also very thoughtful in her recommendations for follow-up and helped me schedule follow-up appointments.

So I went in to see Dr. Chen with serious concerns about a problem I was having with my eyes and left with a huge relief. She did extensive thorough testing on my eyes and informed of each result as they were completed. I felt completely at ease during each of the tests and very confident in her abilities and knowledge. I would highly recommend her for any serious eye problems.

I saw this doctor in 2023 and would not be coming back. She was short with me and basically told me to do this toxicity procedure without even explaining the process and what it does. The procedure turned out to be mildly traumatic for me personally as it involves taping wires around your eyes (like in Clockwork Orange) and getting your eyes to not blink for a considerable amount of time while looking at movements on a screen; it would have been helpful if they had explained what was going to happen beforehand. There was also some confusion from the office on what other procedures I needed to book an appointment on. Overall, I was not happy with how it went down and will look elsewhere.
