Schefkind Eye Care

I'm writing this review regarding the exceptional Dr. Morgan. He is a wonderful, caring physician with the strongest education and drive to heal. When dealing with my mom's illness, he was meticulous and listened when no one else was, trying advanced treatments, and touching all bases. Schefkind Eye Care is incredibly lucky to have such a wonderful physician like Dr. Morgan, and he will go far in his career. If you can have him as your doctor, make sure you do! I wish more doctors were like him.

I made an appointment before 2 months for July and they ask me an insurance and I show my medicaid for them. they do not accept my medicaid I made an appointment on Tuesday September 9, 2025 I came early on 2:00 PM I give united medicaid insurance. But they do not accept my medicaid insurance. I said there is important for coming but I got in trouble at work with it. And My co-workers are trouble at work with it. And my boss is trouble with it. I don't want to feel trouble any employees in my workplace. You have to learn from me not to trouble just like me. Ok That means this is the worst eye clinic. Don't hold an appointment from this worst clinic. In general don't expose to any private place. You have to expose any public expose. Public place is much better than private place. I prefer a public place for all of you. Who lived in the United States.(USA).

An excellent eye doctor. I have been consistently pleased with this entire practice. The staff is pleasant and helpful. The doctor is outstanding. He handled my cataract surgery several years ago which was very successful. I have referred friends to him, as he was referred to me. If you are looking for good eye care, I highly recommend this practice.

This eye care clinic is the most expensive clinic i ever visit they ask me co-pay i have never pay a penny for the last 10 years i have to leave the service because this clinic charges more than it should inaddition to my exam he went on have me a glass prescription in which i have paid other doctor already i told them i paid already they keep charge me for that anyway.

If I could leave 0 stars I would. Interacting with this practice has been the most unorganized, incompetent and pushy experience I've ever had with any sort of medical health care provider. We experienced long wait times, redundant or incorrect instructions, unsolicited rude customer service, pushy "sales" tactics for surgery, aggressively repeated phone calls and the highest level of incompetence I've ever seen in my life. Basic things you should be able to ask a medical provider for and receive a quick and easy responses like the ingredients to eye drops they want you to take, or a breakdown of out of pocket costs, get you nothing but the run around at this practice. Not transparent, and not helpful when it comes to putting an already jumpy patient at ease. Specific call out to two of the ladies at the front desk, the scheduler and the women that checks people in. I advice management that those two be taken off of the duty of interacting with patients because those are their weakest skill areas. If you or a family member are considering care from this practice, beware. If that's the experience in the front of office, I'm not willing to experience them taking care of our medical needs.

Busy but efficient practice with friendly, kind, attentive help from all (OK, the intake front desk person could be a little less terse- but I've worked a job like that so I get it.) I've been to see Dr. Schefkind before and I find him to be a knowledgeable, approachable, personable professional. He is efficient but doesn't make you feel like he is rushing you out - carefully considers questions. I didn't have any surgical procedures so I can't comment on that. Highly recommend! Excellent customer service, Dr. Chay and all his staff are very very very professional and always with a smile. Equally important, Dr. Chay and all his staff were very patient with all my questions. I highly recommend this office to everyone. I always feel welcome every time I visit them.

I had cataracts removed from both my right and left eyes. I opted to have the laser surgery for both. Both procedures went smoothly without any problems either during the surgery or after. Dr Edward Chay was my surgeon and I would recommend him faithfully. The Schefkind practice is efficiently ran and I had a very satisfying experience with all concerned. I am so happy with the result and I am so very glad I had this procedure. Being able to see like I can now is something I could not have imagined before. Thank you to Schefkind for making this experience so positive.
