Walmart Vision & Glasses

This employee, she said her name is Charlotte, needs retraining. She asks so many personal questions. I've never seen an employee so rude and intrusive. I didn't come here to talk about my personal life or Jesus, I came here to buy glasses

The staff at the Lakewood Wal-Mart vision Center is knowledgeable. Especially Ashlyn. She is very helpful. I would recommend their service!

I came into this location in need of glasses quickly as both my main and backup pairs got broken a couple days apart. My vision is bad enough that not having glasses is a nonoption. I came in barely before close hoping that I might still be helped. I found the manager (I believe. Nice middle-aged man with rimless glasses) who was friendly but clearly anticipating the end of the day. Nevertheless, he helped me right then and there, and then went above and beyond the next morning on his own initiative by getting a signature from my eye doctor that they had forgotten and requesting a rush on my order. The glasses arrived about a day and a half from when I went in, or about a day from when the order went in after the doctor's signature was gotten. Overall, he was amazing, the delivery speed was amazing, the glasses are good so far, and the prices are lower than most and for the same frames in many cases. Highly recommend! The service when I came to pick up my glasses was less good, especially due to the delay caused by someone familiar to the staff coming in the side door with their adult kids, skipping the line, and getting helped, and because we didn't do a fitting. Still, the rest of the experience more than makes up for this part.

Claudia was super sweet and entertained my son even if we weren't purchasing today. This says a lot about her and her priorities. I'm an optician at another competitor's location and this review doesn't reflect anything other than my experience with her- but you don't see this very often from staff and I was so impressed I'm compelled to write this. Caring and sweet. 5 Stars for Claudia. When you get a license Claudia, come work for us

My experience from the moment I called and spoke with Tasha to going into the store and her helping me purchase my glasses was so easy, she was thorough , kind, and I felt she genuinely cared . Claudia and the other two employees were also very pleasant also . I definitely recommend this stores optical department, the staff is great , thanks Tasha wonderful customer service.

I absolutely loved my experience at the vision center! I went in and saw the eye doctor who was very thorough and then was so happy with the covid protocol at this store! I was still able to try on what ever I wanted and the staff was happy to clean what ever I placed in the basket! Lewis was so helpful with opinions and going over all my options! I'm so excited to pick up all 3 of my glasses next week!!! So excited to try out my new computer glasses!! There is a new anti glare that is gunna be so much easier to clean too!!! Can't wait to see that too!!!

I wouldn't recommend coming here! The first time I got glasses here they got my prescription wrong. When I went back to request the correct pre-scripted glasses, they asked me to pay again even though they got the glasses wrong. Even worse that they originally asked me to pay a warranty on the wrong glasses that wasn't even transferable to the new and correct ones. Lots of wasted money here!

My experience at the Walmart Vision Center was extremely positive. I had both contact and glasses scripts from my doctor. I also bought high end frames directly from the manufacturer and just needed the lenses adjusted. It cost about $180 dollars for the lenses to be adjusted at the Vision Center, which is less than Lens Crafters. The process took a week. I got my glasses back and they are perfect.
